The end. None of that is relevent to the moon landings, so we should all just let it go. Maybe sometime in the future, we can pick it up again, but not now, please.

Well, it would help if you support your claims with actual evidence. In fact, I would deem it a necessary condition of making an argument. If you cannot support your claims, you have... nothing more than claims. In any case, when can we expect to see an enumerated list of your claims? If the debate is a go, and I have to go first, and state my entire theory, I may need a day or two to put it all in one message.

Ok, MM, I've started the debate thread. Please list your arguments in a numbered list to make it easier to stick to the plan.

No problem, MM. Take your time. I'm surprised that the folks here are giving you much of a chance, but then, I guess I shouldn't be.
Just don't claim that they aren't fair -- they're practically bending over backwards to give you an opportunity to present a case at your comfort level.

Thanks. Can I ask a favour of the mod..? When I registered it would not allow me to use the name Moon Man. I had to make it moonman. Can you separate the words moon and man for me and also please capitalized the M's in Moon and Man for me.
Thank you.

Ok, MM, I've started the debate thread. Please list your arguments in a numbered list to make it easier to stick to the plan. I just noticed that you're from Hamilton. I use to play Fastball for a Hamilton team. Also, I need some time to think about how and where to start with this debate. I might not post my first message until later tonight or tomorrow. I also have some retarded bug on my puter that prevents me from creating one message. I can't cut and paste from word, for example. I will post my message as I draft it in the thread created and edit and add to it as I go. I will say in the thread that 'I am finished' when I am in fact done. I say this now just so Jay or whoever is debating me doesn't begin replying until I am done. Or, I can just raise issues one at a time and we can debate them before moving on to the next point. This way I could start the debate almost immediately. Which way would you like me to do it..? And thanks to you and this board for providing Free Speech, unlike BA. Thank you for fixing my name, too.

I guess one at a time would work. I was really hoping to see your complete "proof" though. Anyone else?

As long as you don't edit your first point we can begin right away. You can continue adding to the list as we go... but like mushiwulf I would like to see all of your arguments.

I prefer the one at a time way as well so I don't have to cite every issue in chronological order. I could give a brief explanation of my theory and we can debate each issue I raise, but I'll let the mod decide.

In the interest of a fair 'contest', MoonMan, here is your starter for 10... "Quick answers for you as I promised to address these questions. 1- The moon has a lunar atmosphere different then that on earth." here is a link, as you are fond of : www.lpi.usra.edu/expmoon/Apollo17/A17_Experiments_LACE.html which actually backs up this claim. Don't think you'll like the source though....

I will give a a brief explanation of my theory. I will then list the points that require debate and we can debate them one at a time and in any order. For example; 1- The batteries. 2- Re-entry and descent speed. 3- The heat shield and no steam on splashdown. 4- The spacesuit - no leakage and how they were pressurized in the lander. 5- The immediate responses on the tape. 6- The tempertures on the moon and how the film never melted or froze. 7- A few pictures need addressing, i.e., footprints and shadows. 8- Anything else I have forgotten at the moment. Okay..?

Don't think you'll like the source though.... Quick question for you. It was said the vacuum begins above our atmosphere and runs until the end of the universe. Is the atmosphere on the moon different then the atmosphere, say, only 50,000 miles in space..? And is the same lunar atmosphere different then 220 miles up where the space station is located..? And I like your humour, and comment; Don't think you'll like the source though...Ha!
