Notice anything different between these two pictures..? Both allegedly taken at the same time. The top one is a still picture of the golf shot during Apollo 14. The bottom one is a frame from the TV coverage.

Are you a current Member of Parliament?
Or perhaps a lobbyist for the Liberal Party of Canada?
Or just a CR4. . . . .
Either way I have to give you credit for wasting a lot of people's time.
I guess, for you, that is considered an accomplishment.
God knows, you have nothing to do that actually matters.
All the best,
Your neighbour,
Ottawan

Both allegedly taken at the same time. Alleged by whom? NASA? I don't think so. Prove a link to where NASA claims these two images were taken at the exact same time. note to everyone else: MoonMan wont provide such a link

Well . . . I guess they weren't taken at the same time dufus!!
I'm sorry, dufus is my Uncle's name. Or at least a term of endearment.
You are frickin' hilarious. And you are 14 years old.
Or the equivalent in lawyer years.
Kel, I give up, I have had my fun.
Admiral!!! There be whales here!!!!!

Who took the pic..? There is not a third astronaut on the moon. The top picture came from Alan Sheppards book. Look at the fake oversized golf ball in the top right in the top picture from Alan's book. There is no rover on Apollo 14 where a still picture could be taken from. The camera's were only attached to the chest of the astronauts.
Why would Alan Shepard allow such a false picture to be used in Moon Shot: The Inside Story of America’s Race to the Moon..? This is a book he wrote together with astronaut Deke Slayton (supervisor of the astronaut corps from 1959 to 1972), NBC news space correspondent Jay Barbree, and the senior aerospace journalist for Associated Press, Howard Benedict. The introduction to Moon Shot is signed by Neil Armstrong. Alan Shepard is described as ‘the man in the middle’ in terms of his function within the space program. Neil Armstrong’s first sentence is ‘Luna incognita’. (The unknown Moon.) His last paragraph starts ‘Luna is once again isolated’. In between he calls our satellite by its English name ‘Moon’. Indeed ‘Luna’ was never adopted by NASA as a name for the Moon but ‘Luna’ was the name of the 1958-1976 Soviet unmanned lunar spacecraft program.

Notice anything different between these two pictures..? Both allegedly taken at the same time. No, folks are asking for you to back up your assertions for once. You provided two images and said they were taken at the same time. What are the timestamps on these images? How did you verify them? Please provide the detailed reference information on these images. Until you can provide more than "I say so" you have no argument (as usual).

Notice anything different between these two pictures..? Both allegedly taken at the same time. The top one is a still picture of the golf shot during Apollo 14. The bottom one is a frame from the TV coverage. This was already covered in detail in the " Lighting on the Moon" thread. Please review the forum rules concerning starting new threads and trolling: 2. Posting New TopicsEnsure a topic doesn't already exist before starting a new one. Multiple threads about the same topic can create confusion.
Try not to spread discussions from one thread into another, and don't take a thread off topic.
Also, try to keep topics in the appropriate forum category. I may move threads that are in the wrong section. ... 8. TrollingTrolling is not tolerated for very long on this forum, so if you make a claim or accusation you better be prepared to defend it.
The definition of trolling on this forum is:
a) repeatedly making statements with the intention of creating a negative response (ie. anger); b) repeatedly making the same claim or accusation while ignoring responses that dispute it.
If you believe someone is a "troll" then the best course of action is to simply ignore them. "Don't feed the trolls."
Once the administrator of the forum has determined that a user is "trolling" they may be banned. I will also remind you, Moon Man, that under the terms of the debate you are not supposed to start new arguments. If you really must talk about Alan Shepards golf balls etc. then add them to your list and we will get to it when all other items on the list have been resolved. If you are not willing to follow this rule then there is no point in continuing with the (attempted) debate. I will delete your private sub-forum and you can deal with people responding to your claims as you write them. To everyone: please don't provoke him on with insults, it isn't helping matters any. The rules apply to everyone, not just the hoax believers... so please don't force me into a position where I have to punish anyone. I realize he is being extremely difficult but insulting him is only going to make things worse.

Jeesh, I don't have the book, but know the answer...(it's on most of the "AB" sites)
It's a poorly done composition, a fakery, a depiction for Al Shepards book. Nothing more...just an artists attempt to depict how it might have looked...
NOT a NASA photo, nor ever claimed to be. You really can do better than this, can't you?

Lunarorbit. Thanks for the link. I have not read every thread on here yet so I didn't know it was alreadt mentioned. I also did not start this thread. Would there happen to be a link where it is explained why the astronauts appear to move in slow motion when they are in 1/6 gravity..?

Moon Man said,
"If the moon has 1/6 gravity then why do the video clips show the astronauts walking around in in what appears to be slow motion..? They should be walking faster not slower.
Look at how fast the acsent module lifts off in 1/6 gravity on the Apollo 17 video clip. If they were lifting off on earth then that lift off would be 6 times faster then depicted in the clip.
It's not believable, folks.
So when astronauts walk around it's in slow motion but when they hit golf balls or the ascent stage takes off it's in super fast mode...Only NASA could pull these things off."
They appear to be in slow motion because they need to over come less acceleration in the moons gravity. Why can you ever show proof along with your questions?
How fast the ascent module lifts off is a factor of mass verses thrust, simple as that. Lets see your math showing how fast it should lift off to attain a 50 mile high orbit.
Surely you understand that golf ball initial velocity is directly related to club speed? Understand that it is hard to swing a gold club while wearing a suit such as those worn by the Apollo astronauts.
Can you tell us exactly why this is not believable? You seem to enjoy playing the victim who lacks the brains to understand simple things like these. Or who lacks the will to search for answers yourself.

Moon Man: In reply No. 3 you completely hijacked this thread with questions that have nothing to do with the topic in the opening post. In reply No. 15 you hijacked it yet again with another irrelevant topic.
Please stop violating the rules, start using some common sense and decency, and stop being so disrespectful.
And to all others who supported Moon Man in his hijack, shame on you. It shouldn't be hard for you to have a little more sense, you should know better, and my comments apply to you too. The very next poster in reply No. 4 should have put Moon Man in his place.
Naturally, I don't include in the last paragraph Lunar Orbit, who justifiably commented on Moon Man's rule-breaking.
Please, a little more respect for Count Zero's wonderful rant. If you don't intend commenting on it, please post elsewhere.
