I’m trying to remember a quotation and who said it. It went something like, “the exact opposite of what is commonly believed is often the truth”. I thought Mark Twain said it, but that could be a false memory and he has had many quotes falsely attributed to him.
I tried finding it with Google and a few quotation sites but didn’t have any luck.
