I would be interested to know who believes in (a) God and who doesn't.
To show good faith, I will put my cards on the table straight away and declare that I am and always have been an atheist.
I suppose I am trying to discover who does, and who does not, have blind faith in the unproven.

When did Jesus call himself a Christian? Good Point! Rather reminds me of the old joke where Julius Caesar was asked what year it was, and he replied "It's 55 B.C."

Obviously I'm pleased with the result. I love cricket, and once spent a very happy summer working for the English Cricket Board, touring schools and county shows, introducing people, mainly of school age to a game called "Kwik Cricket", which is a simplified form of cricket
Cricket has been on the decline in the UK for some time, due partly to the power of the financial juggernaut which is football, but this Test Match seems to have given the game a massive boost amongst youngsters, which is no bad thing.
Personally, I love the game most at its grassroots level- an inter-village game on a summer Sunday afternoon is a wonderful, quintessentially English thing.
Agree with you about the Aussies' poor tactics in the Test. England didn't win the Ashes, Australia lost them.
Still, we wish you sporting best luck for the next one!

Jeez, just think how much you could get someone fined for calling you a mad, delusional, trolling drunkard! ;D ;D ;D The thing with bringing suit against that sort of claim is that the plaintiff would need to demonstrate that he wasn't a mad delusional trolling drunkard, otherwise the "fair comment" defence would carry the day ;D No problem, I'd just show the Judge that footage of Charlie Duke being pulled up on a wire!

Have you heard the one about the Scotsman, the Welshman and the £750 fine for racism? By Alan Hamilton RACISM is alive and well on the Celtic fringes of Britain. A Jock was fined £750 yesterday for insulting a Taffy. Danny Meikle, 57, a Labour councillor in Lanarkshire, was convicted by Lanark Sheriff Court of acting in a racially aggravated manner by repeatedly addressing Tecwyn Thomas, a recent immigrant to southern Scotland, as “Boyo”. Source tinyurl.com/bxrxg (The Times newspaper(UK)) Just how thin-skinned would you have to be, to be offended by being called "boyo", which is a completely inoffensive term used among the Welsh themselves, and which approximates to the Australian "mate".? Jeez, just think how much you could get someone fined for calling you a mad, delusional, trolling drunkard! ;D ;D ;D
