By the way, I've seen the videos mentioned. It is worth noting that in "A Funny Thing" Bart deliberately doesn't show parts of the video that directly contradict his interpretation. Now why would he do that? He couldn't just be in it to make a buck, could he? He also lies about the video being classified. It was not and never has been classified.

Svector- have you ever contemplated playing a lawyer on TV?
Worthy of Perry Mason, my man! Excellent.

-and svector, I couldn't tell you in person the last time but I didn't know it wasn't you speaking in your videos 'cause I have titinitus in my right ear LOL. Are you sure it wasn't my narrator who gave you the tinnitus?

Well, I don't know if you can call me a lurker or new member since I've already encountered Rocky/David over at BAUT. Regardless, his constant "could have, might have, it's possible" handwaving tactics are risible. Sorry Rocky, but this former debater and debate judge awards the round to the Negative team as you have clearly failed to provide sufficient evidence to support the resolution "Resolved: The Apollo data are fake." This round ended one minute into the first affirmative constructive.

Welcome over here, etac. I'm afraid you indeed do not qualify as a "lurker and viewer" since so many of us are already familiar with you from BAUT. But it's nice to see you over here.
The results of the experimental verification of rocky's "lurkers and viewers" implicit claim remains unchanged at 8-0 against rocky.

Hi, etac! Yes I hear you: my mother was a debate coach and judge. I was also a debater and (much later) a judge. I also was privileged to teach formal logic to computer science students at the University of Utah. I've also been party to more courtroom proceedings than I'd normally like, in which the judge carefully instructs the jury that an affirmative defense is being mounted and the defender has the burden of proof in that case, not the claimant.
Suggesting alternate hypotheses is the beginning of induction, not the end of it. Rocky seems to think he gets to take home the debate trophy simply by having walked into the room and taken his seat.

Erm...except that I'm a real viewer and have read both of those websites and I'm still 100% convinced that Apollo WASN'T a hoax. Sorry for not conforming to your idea of what a 'real" person is.

Linking to copyrighted videos in the forum is against the rules and the Proboards Terms of Service. It is also against the Google and YouTube rules to upload copyrighted video, that is why they keep removing them. So unless you have Bart Sibrel's written permission to link to his videos, and I'm sure you don't, please don't link to them here again. I just want to query this. All videos are copyright to the creator unless they are specifically tagged as public domain, such as NASA's. Are we therefore not allowed to link to any video that is not public domain because it is copyrighted. As such none of us but SVector could link to his videos because he is the copyright owner. I think you need to be a little clearer, especially since there is generally no way to determine what videos found on the net have been uploaded legitimately and which haven't.

Count me as a lurker that thinks rocky is off his rocker. Nothing resembling a good point.

It's difficult, I know. When in doubt I usually ask myself whether the video is available for purchase on VHS or DVD. If it's something that is being sold commercially then it's unlikely the owner of the copyright wants it being shared for free online. There are different types of copyrights, some allow or even encourage sharing, and some don't. It's best to play it safe if you're not sure if sharing is allowed for a particular video.

Hi, gorgonian. Welcome to the Apollo subforum.
The shutout continues. Nine "lurkers and viewers" have responded with judgments about rocky's claims, and every one of them thinks they're bogus.
