I was checking out some old threads that were started before I joined here and came across this link: seaofcrisis.com/ext/babb/moonman.htmI had read moonmans posts before, but to have some of his quotes compiled like this is hilarious. You really do wonder if it is worth arguing...

Moonman was special. He was far more entertaining than the average HBer. Although like all other of his kind, once he'd had his say and gotten nowhere, he became pretty tedious.

Moonman was special, all right.
Although there've been a few interesting quotes from other hoax believers over the years. For some reason, this remark from Interdimensional Warrior reminds me of the writings of Lewis Carroll:
"If a theory is falsifiable, it by definition IS false, but then I wouldnt expect you to understand this simple logic. If you CAN prove it false, it is, and if you cannot, it MIGHT not be. One thing is for sure, you are assbackwards, boy."

My favorite Moonman quote is still, "What is our atmosphere made of that prevents the vacuum from penetrating it..?"
It's more ignorant than nutty, but it still tickles me.

It's a nice one because it sums up so much in one pithy line. It's the Moonman equivalent of "Turtles all the way down."

Perhaps we should open nominations for a Hoax Believers Hall Of Fame...

Perhaps we should open nominations for a Hoax Believers Hall Of Fame... We'll have to find an appropriate substitute for " Fame" though.

Perhaps giving them that level of attention, regardless of what we choose to call it, will only serve to feed their delusions. After all, they don't seem to care what attention they get as long as they get some.
