i had a quick look, will have a proper look later. I imagine that if it was fake, as he's trying to make out it is - this would be a simple experiment to replicate here on earth.
Obviously, the objectivity of someone's research starts to become a little suspect, once they start using the word 'undebunkable'.
In my experience, 'Undebunkable', is the first of a two stage life-cycle for conspiracy-theorist 'evidence'. Once you've finally gone to a ridiculous amount of effort to point out the fallacies in their theories (you know, getting past the arguing and name calling), the evidence then becomes 'misinformation'.

I'm open to the explanation of a casual glancing blow by the astronaut's left arm as he passed, but here's another question...
Is there any possible venting by the Astronaut's PLSS? Can such a venting send enough of a puff of gas to cause drag? Just asking.

No, the PLSS system worked by a slow sublimination of ice into gaseous water. This is a continuous process and doesn't come in fits and starts. There was air leaking from the suits, enough that when the Astronauts came near the atmospheric experiemnts in the ALSEP it overwhelmed them, but even this amount as so small that it would not have moved the flag. The two most likely explinations are that he either hit it with his elbow, or there is enough of a static charge between them that it was attracted to him as he passed.

Overwhelmed the experiments, of course - not the astronauts. PhantomWolf, you also should get a decent browser with a spelling checker - i.e. Firefox ("experiemnts"!). Makes life so much easier.

Isn't the Spell Checker built into this web page? The buttons on the bottom of this pre-post page are:
Post Reply - Preview - Spell Check -- Reset
That's why I don't have very many spelling mistakes. I know Gillianren is watching.

Contrary to what we see on TV, most predators make no sound, so that they do not alert their prey before they pounce.

PhantomWolf, you also should get a decent browser with a spelling checker - i.e. Firefox ("experiemnts"!). Makes life so much easier. Being able to spell, or type, is not a claim I have never made. If I'm good I check it in word first, but if I'm in a hurry I don't and posts get a lot of typos in them.

The nice thing about Firefox is that the spelling checker is built-in, so any input box has spelling checking enabled. Take a look at the second item on the Firefox features list; there's a snippet of a screen shown. Lots of other good stuff too, although it still can be a memory hog (partly due to the design). Firefox 3 is supposedly a big improvement on that, though.

I just learned how to spell and type when I was young. Now I get to lord it over my illiterate friends.

I just learned how to spell and type when I was young. Now I get to lord it over my illiterate friends. Me, too. Now, I quite admit that English is a very difficult language to spell. And, yes, all those spellcheck examples are well-taken. But I despair, sometimes, about what people learn in school, since it clearly isn't grammar, spelling, or science.
