Mythbusters rules. It's probably a good thing that they didn't try to build a rocket and go there themselves, since their last rocket car exploded on ignition.

I have mixed feelings about Mythbusters. I'm all in favour of science entertainment shows, so long as that "entertainment" bit isn't forgotten. Many of Adam and Jamie's investigations don't in fact "bust" the given myth, they just prove that it wouldn't work the way they have set up their specific experiment.
One of the more notorious examples is their "arrow catching" investigation from their ninja show. They set up a mechanical hand, fired arrows at it, and concluded from the hand's failure to catch anything that the "myth" was busted. Well, no. It just showed that their mechanical hand couldn't catch an arrow fired from a bow with a specific pull from a specific distance. Given that there are videos of arrow catching (search Google for them), then their conclusion would appear to be hasty at best.
They are entertainers that get to do all sorts of cool stuff, but they are hardly arbiters of reality.
And yes, I'm jealous and want their job.

Some of their experiments do seem to be more rigorous than others. It's still a very fun show, and you can learn stuff from it.

I saw Criss Angel catch an arrow, but after many, many attempts.

To help with my Firefly withdrawl, I latched on to Kari. She's like Kaylee, only real (except, sometimes, for the hair color)!

Discovery Channel Unfortunately, the above pic is not representative of her typical appearance. That pic is from a photoshoot she did for FHM a year or two back. This is pretty much how she usually looks (although lately her hair's leaning more towards blonde): Cz

You can go and see segments of the show that didn't go to air on the Discovery Channel website.
And watching Kari Byron at work is definitely one of the entertainment aspects of the show.
