CNN articleNice to see somebody thought of this. I'd rather see people using the old stuff for something productive, rather than just letting it rust.

The article uses the word "Constellation". Is that the new name of the CEV?

The article uses the word "Constellation". Is that the new name of the CEV? That is the name of the project. The CEV will be named Altair, from the Arabic phrase 'the flying Eagle', and the LSAM will be named Artemis, virgin goddess of the hunt and the moon and twin sister of Apollo. EDIT: I'm not sure the CEV and LSAM names are official yet, but they are said to be the leading names at this point.

the LSAM will be named ArtemisToo funny... that was the name of the joint US/Soviet lunar mission in Superman II (with that silly LM knock-off which, among other design flaws, had cabin windows tilted up )
