(Yes, it's about another TV show)
I have been seeing bits and pieces of Space Race, where the race to the Moon is portrayed as a competition between Von Braun and Korolev and his successors. The style reminds me of those documentaries with re-enacted and dramatized parts (but no interviews).
I have the sneaking suspicion that they over-emphasized Von Braun's weight in the decision-making process in the later part of the American Space program.
Has anyone else seen it?

I have the DVD, but unfortunately no intimate knowledge of the degree of von Braun's influence. That said, there was no overtly obvious overstatement of his degree of clout above what you'd expect from the designer of the booster used to get to the Moon...

I saw that program about a year ago. For the most part I enjoyed it, but it had way too many technical errors for me to give it a high grade. The show was discussed in another forum last year; below is the link: www.thespacerace.com/forum/index.php?topic=1385.0

Thanks for the replies.
I had a look at the thread on thespacerace forum. It seems that my suspicion was not too far off.
