I know the upcoming episode of Mythbusters dealing with the moon hoax theory has been mentioned in other threads, but I decided to split it off into it's own thread. A trailer for the episode has been released: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JbaM1xNIis

I wonder how long it will be before it comes over here? I await developments with much interest...

I'm getting worried LO. I saw Mythbusters advertising "Shark Week" on Discovery Canada, but so far no Moon Hoax stuff. Gillianren said that in the ad she seen for Shark Week that there was mention of the moon hoax, but I didn't see that.

At 0:59 in the clip you see the 'Busters setting up their still camera near a simulated lunar landscape. That would be the part on which I advised, along with Phil Plait.

By the way, I'm a little bit scared of how someone like David C. could abuse the forum's new ability to embed YouTube videos in posts. I'm on a broadband connection and this page took no time to load... does anyone else find it loads slowly?

It's a good sign though that the Shark Week episode came to Canada the same week that it aired in the US. Hopefully we can expect the same from the moon hoax episode.

It loads just as normal, only the YouTube video itself stays white for a bit longer.

They were in the Vomit Comet briefly, and Adam was wearing a fake spacesuit.

Talking about Phil, when I looked at the Google ads they had three photos, one of Jamie and Adam, one of Tory, Kari, and Grant, and one of Tory, Kari, Grant, and you guessed it, Phil!

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Shark Week?

It's a week made up mostly of shark themed programs on the Discovery Channel.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Shark Week? Ever hear of "Air Jaws" or "Air Jaws 2"? "Anatomy of a Shark Bite"? Anyway, as LO said, this is a week dedicated to programs about sharks. Though I've seen a few of them before, I still find them pretty cool. Better than most stuff that's out on TV.

I'm on a broadband connection and this page took no time to load... does anyone else find it loads slowly? Do you mean the ability of this forum? I think David C was in a catagory of his own in his obsession and reliance on YouTube videos for evidence. Any other HBs are likely NOT to show up here at ApolloHoax, it seems. They'd rather stay on YouTube's comments sections, since it limits responses to 500 characters, and therefore a comprehensive debunking of their claims cannot really be given. It also allows avoidance of URLs that do not link to CT sites in the post; you have to either give a Google search term, or copy and paste a URL that's written differently than then actual URL.
