Hi there, I've found something that I had no idea, India launched a probe to the moon. I am happy and worried. The HBs will take into account that NASA has some devices there, surely they are going to argue that it is there to cover their forgery. Anyhow, it is another milestone for human exploration of the moon. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7679818.stm

I wonder how the pictures from India's probe will compare to the pictures from Kaguya/SELENE.

I applaud the Indians and wish this endeavor well. As the article touched on, this is a pretty impressive package and the C1XS X-ray spectrometer with it's "mapping" of various lunar elements could be instrumental (pardon the pun) in understanding the moon's formation/evolution.

I wonder how the pictures from India's probe will compare to the pictures from Kaguya/SELENE. Well from what I've read. India's probe will have a 5m/pixel resolution. Japan's has 10m/pixel. So that should make for a noticable improvement I would think. The Lunar decent modules should show up as a full pixel or two.

The photo at 70000 km is just too beautiful.

I'd swear those weather paterns were lifted directly from the transparency used in the fake A-11 film that BS uncovered. ;D

Lunar Laser Ranging Instrument working, I wonder if it can accurately measure all the Apollo gear (at least give some hint) left on the surface.
