Is there anybody here who's following this mission? I think that this is one of the most important missions since the Apollo program - it will make the ISS suitable for a permanent six person crew! This is an acheivement!

I'm being lazy, I know, but what are the emergency evacuation provisions for a 6 person crew? Will two Soyuz craft be docked with the station?

This is an acheivement! That indeed is the real story of this mission but what does the main stream press concentrate on? The fact that they managed to fix the water reclamation system because there is the ick factor of making drinking water from urine; and what the astronauts are having for Thanksgiving dinner.

Indeed, a permanent ability for a six strong human presence in space is the the real story here. I just can't find any resources saying how, given a catastrophic issue, what the plan for evacuation is. I have no doubt there is such a plan

Endeavour just had a safe landing at Edwards Air Force Base (the weather in Florida was bad).
