I'm hoping that with the new tentions starting in Lebanon over another (possibly Syrian sposered) political assassintion, that Lionking will keep safe and out of trouble of there. I'm sure that while those of us in the Western World think our politics gets nasty and heated on occasion, we have nothing of the like of places such as the Middle East were people get killed over their politics and religion (and even it seems in Russia.) I hope things settle down over there before it becomes another full scale civil war.

I know it was probably dangerous to go to the funeral, but enough is enough. I didn't participate in the 14March demonstration for fear of further tensions, but the other party is not showing anything but tension. They don't want the UN tribunal and conceal themselves by law. They wanted to go down y demonstrations to pull the gov. down. They resigned from the ministries. Now, that one minister and parliamentarian from 14March is dead, only two dead like him are needed to put the government down. They said it was "gov of Filtman (Us embassador) and not Saniora in Lebanon, and we will not proceed to say whose gov also (Israel) in Lebanon", which means direct accusation of being traitors. The father of the martyr was calming the party down, but the things they were saying were dangerous. "We want to go to pull down Lahoud", "they have been calling him a traitor since a month"... "we want revenge from Nasrallah and the General (Aoun) " I hope they (Amal and Hizbollah Ministers) respond to the calls telling them to get back to the government. Otherwise, I am afraid we'll lose the dream that we have been dreaming since a year.
