Okay, it's official. I must be a nerd - I looked at them all.
Anyone know anything about the Cincinnati mill shown in several plates? It looks like an early CNC driven machine.

As you are looking at those factory photos, trying thinking to yourself, "These people are engaged in faking the moon mission. Every process, every piece of equipment, is just for show."

That's me, on super-slow rural dialup. The photos up to No. 3276 download okay, but after that I get only the little box with the red cross, which I have to right-click, then "Show Picture." Without any idea of which numbers to click on, it becomes an extremely slow and frustrating exercise, but through clicking on every 20th photo I found numbers 3333 to 3343 are to do with LM construction. Can someone please confirm whether or not it is only those photo numbers, 3333 to 3343, that are of interest to Apollo nuts? No. 3270, the night-time shot of a baseball game is worth a look. Has anybody seen an on-camera flash unit made in the last 40 years which can expose such a large area as well as the flash-bulb has in this case? Note that the bulb gets some of its power from firing for a longer duration than an electronic flash unit. The bat and the batter's right foot are blurred, so I'd guess the bulb fired for about 1/100th to 1/200th of a second. The bulb is on the upper right from the camera's lens and probably had a reflector behind it. Note the fuzzy-edged shadows cast by the foreground spectators, and the same down-and-to-the-left shadow cast by the batter.

#3270 is a FAKE; there are stars in the sky, the dust is not billowing, the shadows are not parallel, It was obviously faked... ON THE MOON! ;D
