For those that watch or have heard of Top Gear (a British car show staring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May), it may be interesting to note that the BBC has failed in it's attempt to keep The Stig's secret identity under wraps. Despite a court case and a non-disclosure contract, the driver has written an autobiography which includes details about his work for Top Gear.
This is the second time that The Stig has been outed, with the original "Black" Stig also outing himself in his autobiography, a move that resulted in his termination with the show, the "Death" of the Black Stig, and the introduction of the current "White" Stig. It wouldn't be surprising to see the BBC react the same way this time.
Strange how this can't be kept under wraps, but NASA's hoaxing of Apollo has been kept quiet for 40+ years....

I've been wondering when that would come out. I started watching after the white Stig stared on the show so I didn't know much about the details of outing the black Stig.
The faux mystery and two possible attributes of the Stig makes for an entertaining part of the show. I can see why the producers would want to protect it. So what colour will the next Stig be?

So what colour will the next Stig be? I could see them doing red because red goes faster, though blue would probably be a better colour overall. I'd suggest that they have to also avoid looking too much like one of the F1 teams so red might be out for that reason. Of course they might opt for grey....
