Talk about a great piece of film comparing the Apollo 14 seq bay footage to a pendulum on Earth and then matching the videos up and showing how it couldn't have been faked on Earth. This is irrefutable proof right here unless you think that not only filmed it in vacuum chamber but also somehow reduced the gravity to 1/6 on earth at the same time on the stage they supposedly filmed it on. www.youtube.com/user/BlisterHiker#p/u/8/01A61jra37o

Welcome to the board, astronaut23. That is a nicely done video. Just so you know I didn't do the video so I'm not taking credit for it. I just found it on youtube. Its what really convinced me of the Apollo authenticity after having got suckered into doubting it.

That is what I thought you meant. There is a large difference between those dedicated to knowledge and those dedicated to ideology. Glad to have you on our side. Sometimes it feels we are out numbered.

Yeah, its a shame that you go on something like you-tube to type in to find an Apollo video and for every legit video you got about 10 stupid suggestions come on the side that talk about the hoax.
And look at even this board how many new messages get posted in the hoax rather than reality.
I just don't understand it myself. Apollo was one of the greatest achievements of all time. And its a disgrace to the 400,000 people who gave their all to make it possible for us to win the race to the moon when people say it was fake.
I can understand it if someone was anti-America they might resent any accomplishment the USA made though.
Its really a shame though because that people would choose to believe the hoax because the reality is so much more interesting. Manned flights to the moon are just awesome and they technology that got us there and how it all works is fascinating stuff.

1977 the year Enterprise took her first test flights. LOL.
I've always been a big fan of the space program since when I was a kid. I kinda wished I'd been alive to see Apollo when it was all happening live. What a thrill. The greatest adventure on which man has every embarked. Pity, that we quit going, IMO.

It was a thrill; sometimes it seems like a dream! I wish that I could've been directly involved.

One one of the later missions, an EVA was scheduled on a weekday during school hours. After only enough begging that my mom believed that watching it was important to me, she let me stay home from school. I sat glued to my TV in awe for the whole broadcast. Despite the fine education I was receiving, I never had a day in the classroom that was so wonderful. It was made more special because my mother had acknowledged the importance and let me have some control over my own education.
We did have a cool science teacher that made sure each class was able to watch one period of moon EVA during the year, if possible.

I´ve been to the Airport in Frankfurt/Germany yesterday with my wife`n kids to make a little tour towards the airfield to see the A380 and stuff. Before that, we went to McDonalds and there was an elderly couple sitting-arround their seventies I guess-and a conversation evolved(because my little son-one year old- is of course a smile magnet). I´m always keen on talking with people which were arround during this fantastic Apollo era to listen to their remarks and they were obviously impressed by the amount of data that I was putting out to them.
The reaction of the woman was absolutely predictable , because she didnt know most of the names after Neil Armstrong, not even Allan Shepard...and with that she showed clearly why the whole thing was stopped: nobody cared anymore after A11! But on the other side it showed clear as a bell that it was normal to have people on the moon at that time!
But back to topic: superb vid!

I've always been a big fan of the space program and I was born in 77 after Apollo was all over with.
