Man, having to use a proxy sucks. I couldn't click on this link any way that I tried. I had to quote the post, going through the motions of replying (which I am now doing for real), so I could see the link, and paste it into a browser bar

Does yours have retro-fit Martian technology like mine? Well, I now have this: It's either retro-fit Martian technology, or an artificial gravity device or a waste control/processing/disposal & converting unit. I'm actually kinda hoping it's the latter.

I have multiple favorites in sci-fi ships:
The Discovery from "2001" tops it off. While she won't make hard, banking turns, she will get you to where you need to go, even if it does take a while. But hey, least you can sleep the trip away! Of course, I don't think I'd want a sentiant computer that's known for having mental breakdowns running the ship.
Second fave, the SOL. Somehow, this ragged looking vessel manages to survive collions, fires, and various anomolies. Too bad one must watch cheesy movies on board.
Lastly, the TARDIS. Goes anywhere, anytime.

"Cheer up!" they said, "It could be worse!" So I did, and it was.
