You want me to pick only one? I don't think there's any movie that I wouldn't eventually get tired of if it was the only one I had on a desert island.

I watched Apollo 13 last night too. I also tend to watch it whenever it's on TV, although I have it on dvd so this probably isn't very logical.

I have the DVD too, but it came down to choosing between watching Apollo 13 (a movie I've seen at least 100 times) or watching one of the dozens of crap filled channels, the decision was pretty easy.

Welcome to "why Gillian doesn't watch much TV." Then again, I've got about a ton of movies to go through, possibly literally, from the library before I'm done. (I'm on D!) I'm also watching my way through the complete series of Remington Steele on DVD preparatory to a review on that, which'll be some time in coming--there's five seasons, and I seldom watch more than two or three episodes a day.
Anyway.
My favourite movie is Roman Holiday. Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. The studio didn't intend to give her billing because, you know, her first starring role. But Gregory Peck said that they'd feel very silly when Audrey Hepburn won an Oscar for it if she didn't have billing, so they gave it to her--and, indeed, she won Best Actress for 1953.
