I think her having won a few big primaries last night is the best news the GOP could ask for. The longer the Democratic party is divided and fighting among itself the better. And she is the candidate the GOP would prefer to face in November anyway. She is such a widely-hated figure that having her as the Democrat candidate will galvanize the Republicans. McCain can beat her. Running against Obama would be tougher.
I stand by my prediction that she will not be President.

Incidently, if I were to completely ignore who Hillary Clinton is married to for the moment and just "judge her by her own merits" I still wouldn't vote for her. The only major policy reform she was ever a part of as First Lady, her attempt to nationalize health care, was a disaster. She was involved in numerous political scandals, including the Whitewater and "Travelgate" scandals. She has had an indistinguished career as the junior Senator from New York, with no major bills to her name, with a voting record that has been strongly liberal.
So what are her merits? What qualifies her to be President?

Another redundant thread. If you want to talk about Hillary Clinton's campaign then continue this thread. You don't need to start a new one.
