Let's start a "Send Bart Sibrel to the Moon" fund!

Yeah, I don't think the Russians will push Sibrel out either, but we can hope.

Yeah, I don't think the Russians will push Sibrel out either, but we can hope. The Russians won't push him out, not least because by the time they got into moon orbit, they would have been dead for three days.

Why is that?

The space ship will be different from the Apollo ones (Mainly becuase it's not going to land, not becuase there were any problems with Apollo.) I fail to see what massive hazard would kill everyone on board, short of an attack by some inter-planatary weapon. Or a freak accident with space debris/space rocks.

Because that's what Russia say would happen if you sent a man to the moon. I like your avatar by the way- especially the bright bit where Buzz is standing.

The Soviets sent live organisms around the moon in 1968. They know it's not fatal to do so.

The space ship will be different from the Apollo ones Well, it will be if it goes anywhere near the moon.

Margamatix, what is your engineering rationale for concluding that the Apollo command module is not sufficient for carrying astronauts alive to the moon. Be specific; I do not accept vague handwaving.

Be specific; I do not accept vague handwaving. Can I just point out that this is the internet and nobody asked you to decide what is acceptable and not?
