Oh, it doesn't matter. The fan wouldn't work in the searing electromagnetic hell anyway.

You peeps must have nice jobs in order to have time to post while you work. Well, in my job I frequently reach the situation where I'm waiting for the big computer to do some heavy number crunching before I can do anything else, and that's a good time to check a few web sites.

Well, in my job I frequently reach the situation where I'm waiting for the big computer to do some heavy number crunching before I can do anything else, and that's a good time to check a few web sites. I do a lot of relational database programming, and I also use the opportunity while code is running, or while I am trying to clear my mind to get through a tough programming quandary, to peruse a few boards. I can pop in just about any time during the day I want.

Heck, I'm just lazy. When I have all morning off and an eight-hour call that evening, I hit the boards hard.
I also take a break or two when I'm home tweaking verts and trying to rationalize UV maps.

I'm a federal government employee and these days my normal working day barely allows me enough time to scratch myself, but I occasionally read and post during my lunch hour. Usually brief posts, and they typically consist of glib statements venting my frustration at the lack of cognitive skills and reasoning ability available to the HBs. I can't help it, but I am aware that it doesn't contribute much to the content of the actual discussion at hand. Oh well.
I can imagine some HBs thinking "federal government employee, huh? Hmmm...." Sorry conspiracists, it's not the U.S. federal government and my work has nothing to do with aerospace or military.
BTW, I find Moon Man's condescending use of the word "peeps" to be both exceedingly annoying and slightly amusing at the same time. Slightly amusing because it's clear that he uses it to talk down to those who oppose his delusions in order to alleviate his inferiority complex. I'll stop there.
Cheers

Negative, it's simply a figure of speech, among e-friends.
