i'm sure its been discussed before but ..
i just watched the first 10 minutes of astronauts gone wild by our friend bart sibel .. and all i can say is that it made me sick to my stomach to see the way this ahole is going after the astraunauts. these guys had more guts than anyone i can think of and were pionners in space exploration ... but still only human and with the passage of time we often forget details and little things .. (do you remember this conversation from 30 years ago .. probably not) nonsense and total lack of respect .. if anything .. for the fact that they are old men
if i had been buzz aldrin i would have done exactly the same and decked him for the count .. its what he deserved !

Yeah, I could almost tollerate Sibrel's first video (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon) but Astronauts Gone Wild is disgusting. I wouldn't like to see anyone treated the way Sibrel treats the astronauts... he stalks them like they are prey and then ambushes them.

Another group has quaintly dubbed that work of garbage as "The Stalking Video". That is purely and simply what it is. Curiously BS has not dared approach Gene Kranz. I wonder why? I also find it curious that BS and his compadres get very defensive when they become the stalked. Don Smith, BS's good pal wasted no time in trying to defame Mark Gray and Spacecraftfilms not to long ago. It boggles the mind as to the type of scum that needs to denigrate someone who simply compiles archive video onto DVD (not to take away from the hard core research Mark puts into his sets). BS's hound-dog journalism reminds me more of Monty Python's witch trial in the Holy Grail, than anything resembling true research.

All the hoax merchants infuriate me for peddling ignorance, but Bart Sibrel is the one that most disgusts me. His treatment of the astronauts is despicable and he makes his living defrauding people. He should be in jail.

I don't think i've seen anything of 'Astronauts gone wild'. Does this include the footage of Buzz punching BS? If so then i've seen that bit at least.
Some one aught to follow BS around and film him. Publicly accuse him of lying and spreading BS (bull sh*t that is) and see how he likes it. I just can't stand the guy at all either. Hopefully karma will come around to bite him on the ass.

Does this include the footage of Buzz punching BS?yeap .. its in there .. that and BS running after most of the astronauts with his bible asking them to swear on it that they went to the moon .. i love Armstong's line .. "knowing you mister sibrel this is probably a fake bible" my question after seeing "something funny" and "astronauts" is this .. what kind of religious agenda does BS have ? in "something funny" hes makes points about the tower of babel and the arrogance of man in the face of god (or something like that) .. and in "astronauts" he runs around with a bible .. i smell a religious conspiracy .....

He's just bending the religion of many people so that it fits in with whatever his story is about.

Bart Sibrel is a member of the International Church of Christ, which has a checkered history of strong-arm recruiting and retention tactics, leading them to be banned from some college campuses. The religious overtones are all too evident in A Funny Thing... but I have no evidence for any connection between his moon hoax activities and his religious activities. In my experience one does not lead to the other in people, but rather both stem from a common psychological cause.

Yup, I guess we really didn't go because God didn't want us to... Uhhh, okaaayyyyy... He uses every trick in the propaganda book, and it seems to target (and succeed with) the ignorant and lazy. They are in lockstep with his drum beat.

I'm currently reading the book Moondust by Andrew Smith. He had interviewed Aldrin shortly after the "Sibrelgate" incident and he asked him if he had really hit Sibrel,
"Oh yeah." He smiles ;D
