Oh, a collection of various photographic artifacts purported to be a secret alien Luna base on the farside of the Moon, inspite of some of them being on the nearside and big enough to be naked eye visible if there was anything actually there. Also the fact that the hyper competent conspirators that hide these things can't properly screen staff for security risks letting it leak out. Anyone know if its possible to sue whoever was responsible for that for four minutes of my life back?

We shouldn't mock Cosmic Dave. I've just had a look at his forum and it appears to be deluged by a rising tide of spam posts and members with very strange names, probably spambots.
Hope the security here is a bit better.

CD is famous for simultaneously asserting that we did not go to the Moon - and that we did go (and are covering up the alien artifacts we found there).

That's funny.
At least Richard Hoagland sticks to one story concerning Apollo.

And he gave the world bunnies on mars.
It's such a nice image, you know. Fluffy white bunnies bouncing around the green swards under the blue skies, snacking on the plentiful blueberries, maybe stopping every now and then to wipe off the solar panels of a mars rover with a couple of shakes of their fluffy tails.
Oh, and getting run over by said rover. Let's pass quickly over that part!

Problem is, those bunnies were awefully small! Micro-bunnies?
From the title of this thread, I wondered one of two things; if CD either found his behind, or he found Jesus!

The size of some of those worms, on the other hand.... Good thing there aren't intestinal parasites on Mars!

Makes me wonder if Hoagland watched too much "Dune".
Can't say I blame him; after seeing that film, and looking at pics of Mars in my book "Beyond", I often think of that film.

Just tried to look at what's happening on Cosmic Dave's much-spammed site and found the following message: and a demand for 10 dollars to proceed.

So now "Cosmic" Dave Cosnette has crossed the line to become someone who takes money from the gullible instead of just fooling them.

I'm not entirely sure whether they want me to pay to sign in or Dave to pay to keep his forum going. Either way, it won't be my money they get.
If I were Dave, I'd let it die. Nearly all the posts on the Apollo hoax thread are by politik, who has done a splendid job of debunking all Dave's arguments.

Reminds me of what James Randi said of Sylvia Brown and other "physic mediums". Hmm, appearently HBers and mediums have something in common. Coincidence? Read the book!

well, based on the huge number of posters at his place before, I have an image of him opening his wallet and a moth fluttering out. Oh well.

Darn it! I'd just started a thread asking all HBs about how the Hoax made them feel.
All I wanted was to get a sense of whether it was anger at NASA for trying to hoodwink them all these years, or sadness at the thought that NASA had had to hoodwink them.
Now I guess I'll never know...
