The only way our flying is remotely convincing is if we fill the theater with fog.

Heh.
Same solution used on the Broadway run of Chitty Chitty -- they decided a wire system was too cumbersome and couldn't create the kind of movement they wanted. So they used a big hydraulic arm, painted the same blue as the cyclorama, and hid the thing as best they could with lighting.
If there's ever an appropriate time to swap horror stories, tho, ask me about when one of my theaters decided to fly Fruma Sara (against my vehement objections). Fiasco ended up with our previous tech director being the only person I'd ever met who managed to drop a sand bag on their own head.

Some nice shots of the PLSS antenna on that clip too, appearing and disappearing as the angle changes, and even being silhouetted against the background surface features.

Hi everyone, first post. But look at when the astronaut says "five inches"! He kicks up dust and the dust spread! Maybe some wrong dust got into the studio set!?! I noticed the same behavior of the dust, but I'm sure there's an explanation.

Welcome Unscannable, Pull up a kitten.
The Wrong dust was most definately put there by a whistle blower, but I can't say anymore otherwise I will get a free ride in a black helicopter.

For the record I don't believe in the hoax theory.

As long as someone has performed necromancy on this thread...
Right in the middle of Peter Pan now. ZFX this time, not the Foys. I'm looking forward to seeing the "over the audience" rig (which I think we omitted the last time I did the show).

Good, because scanning people can lead to heads exploding and all sorts of other unpleasantness.

Straydog02 on YouTube has evidence that NASA can modify gravity, so we're getting beyond that simple "wires" theory. So far, he won't share his evidence with me. I can't wait, though.

How can a harness do this?
It's magic.

Straydog Two, the sequel! Seriously, though, is that the same Straydog that's been discussed before on this forum? (Just asking as a noob; just 'cause I've lurked here for so long, doesn't mean I've kept a detailed score card of Who's Who!) Um... modify gravity to fake a moon landing? So, NASA has working exotic tech only feasible in science fiction, but can't get a spaceship & humans to the moon? Riiiiight...

Thanks for the link. I had no idea about his underlying beliefs. And I was so hoping for evidence of an anti-gravity breakthrough.
