They weren't lying in this video. They had allegedly been orbiting the earth for a week. Their attitudes are understandable after spending a week orbiting the earth and seeing their wives through the glass. They didn't have to lie until later. There's also "Astronauts Gone Wild". video.google.es/videoplay?docid=7284336491671901968

Just for the heck of it, I get a government paycheck now -- and I'm former military. Indeed, since I am a former paratrooper trained in demolitions and awarded the expert marksmanship badge I've got all most all the background to be the black ops guy who's dossier is displayed at some point in a bad action movie.
On the other hand I'm pretty sure there are few black ops using a parks and recreation district of the State of California as a cover...

Nope, sorry, you are wrong again. They did in fact go to the moon. They did not spend their time orbiting the Earth. Or don't you realize that the CM would be one of the most visible objects in the night (and sometimes day) sky? Why did nobody report seeing it?

Exactly...what orbit yould you propose that would hide them from skywatchers and space surveillance/tracking systems? Nothing orbits undetected, inless it's very, very small. (They had tracked an astronaut's EVA overglove in the Gemini days).

They say they went to the moon. You say they orbited the Earth for a week instead. Prove it.

I watched these videos and I think the astronauts are consciously lying. No you don't. You say you do, to get a reaction, but I don't believe you when you say you have any opinion on this, or that. You make up a statement, which you don't care if it is true or not, and stick to it through thick or thin, because you can't defend it one way or another. Cold and damp can do that; try not posting from under that bridge. It makes you say things that are not true.

Go ahead, tell us what makes you an expert. I have actually met, and worked with Apollo, and Apollo-era, astronauts. Have you? I doubt it; that would be getting perilously close to being informed by something other than YouTube and conspiracist web sites.

They weren't lying in this video. But surely their knowledge of the upcoming "tour of lies" would've been weighing heavily on their consciences. How then can you and your HB friends explain this apparently geniune display of joy? After all, you are supposedly the experts at dissecting body language down into little binary nuggets of truth and deceit. At last count I think there were over 12 videos of the press conference posted on YT. If your side is truly interested in an objective and unbiased dissemination of the facts, why wouldn't you include this footage alongside the press conference footage, so everything could be absorbed in context? Why did it take me to unearth the Mobile Quarantine Facility footage? Yes, "allegedly" is right. Odd that you would refer to something you're so certain of as alleged. And the age-old question remains: why did no one notice this highly conspicuous craft as it orbited the earth from July 16th to July 24th? So your position is that they weren't lying during the pre-flight press conferences and interviews? Or during the flight, as they communicated with Houston and described the lunar approach, orbit, and touchdown? Ah yes. Sibrel's impersonation of Joe Francis, where instead of prompting the astronauts to "flash" him, he harangues them with his obnoxious lecture on why they should swear under penalty of eternal damnation that they walked on the moon, Bible in tote. Can you fault them for not wanting any part of what, for all intents and purposes, looked to be an unstable, creepy stalker?

...he harangues them with his obnoxious lecture on why they should swear under penalty of eternal damnation...
Keep in mind that Sibrel lured the astronauts to interviews under false pretenses, telling them that they were giving an interview for Discovery Channel, or for Japanese children's television, and other blatant lies. And let's not forget what Sibrel told the L.A. prosecutor when he was swearing out his assault complaint against Buzz Aldrin. When he was under oath and couldn't lie without consequences, he said he was planning to give Aldrin the honorarium he promised, accuse him of theft for taking money for something he didn't do (i.e., go to the moon), then get the reaction on videotape.
Rocky, you place much value on objectivity. Explain how Sibrel's admitted intent to portray the astronauts in as bad a light as possible does not disqualify him from commenting fairly on astronaut behavior.
Can you fault them for not wanting any part of what, for all intents and purposes, looked to be an unstable, creepy stalker?
Many of the Apollo astronauts have previous experience with Bart Sibrel. Sibrel is counting on naive viewers thinking that he's just an ordinary investigative reporter with no agenda. So they're supposed to look at Astronauts Gone Wild and think, "Gee, those astronauts are treating that nice reporter so shabbily." It's more likely the astronauts are really thinking, "Oh, brother, it's this guy again."

I'm current military, Royal Australian Navy.
I guess that means:
1. I'm in on it; and 2. Australia is in on it, too.

I've seen him introduce himself to other astronauts like Cernan and Bean and Young though, where they didn't appear to know who he was. After Young figured out he was unbalanced, he got the heck out of there. ;D

There's also "Astronauts Gone Wild". video.google.es/videoplay?docid=7284336491671901968"Allegedly" is technically correct, as the evidence points to them going to the moon. This claim of the spacecraft merely being in Earth orbit has been discussed before, and shown to be erroneous. Also, don't forget that the craft would be seen in orbit from Earth, just as the shuttle and ISS are seen. You have yet to explain what would have prevented Apollo from going to the moon. Explain it. As for the second video, that bilge water from Bart Sibrel has also been tackled before. Sibrel himself is a deceptive individual. He does what he does for money and fame. As I saw on Svector's video, the astronauts were in an isolation chamber for about 3 weeks afterward. Combined with their time away in space, this explains their behavior much better than a baseless hoax theory.
