"Treason doth never prosper, what's the reason? For if it prosper, none dare call it treason."There's a woo-woo book entitled None Dare Call It Treason that purports to detail various Communist plots from the Cold-War era. Also, if I ever write a book debunking Pearl Harbor CTs, I'm going to use that as one of the chapter titles.

I read that book when I was in high school. We had a history teacher that was a John Birch Society type that was pushing all sorts of Commie conspiracy and infiltration ideas. It was my introduction to conspiricy theory. The books strength was in its broad sweeps and guilt by association, with just enough facts to make the rest seem plausible. It is an interesting read.
The teacher was the type that put paper over the window in his classroom door so no one could watch him. He started a short lived student political group, which I joined. The church were the group met kicked us out. I came to my senses and avoided him after a while when the nature of the group became more apparent.
Years later the teacher was jailed for having sex with teenage boys.

I have yet to be called that. In fact, I'm surprised I haven't, given that I'm former navy. Know anyone else here that is former military? I spent a couple of months in the Air Training Corps at 16 - does that count? Had to give it up as exams loomed... good fun it was while it lasted though.
