I seem to recall Khrushchev having gotten himself in trouble with his boasting - grossly exaggerating the number of ICBMs with the magic CCCP written on them, thereby triggering an intensive effort by the US to upgrade its capabilities - probably not what ol' Nikita was hoping for...

Soviet shoes were always of correct size. The problem was clearly that Nikita Sergeivich had wrong size feet... Hee hee, shades of Goodbye, Lenin...

High-resolution analysis of the footage of that incident reveals that the shoe in question was, in fact, not Khrushchev's proper size, proving that he was an imposter. Of course, the only reason he blew the whistle was his intense guilt over the entire charade. Well, maybe wearing shoes of the wrong size was what made him so angry...

Well, I'm fairly sympathetic to rocketdad. What you people do in your free time is your business, and I can certainly understand why it is safer to engage in this activity over the internet rather than to go to the psychiatric ward and do it in person. I've been lurking for a while, but every time I am tempted to argue with one of these chuckleheads, I ask myself why I don't do something fun instead, like maybe shoving a red hot poker up my a$$...
There seems to be a good core group here, if there were some place everyone got together without the chuckleheads, I wouldn't mind hanging out there...
