mmm..I am sure when the Americans release the official photo it will be the right one Assuming they ever do. They are under no obligation to do so. From the TV reports the photo wold not be a pretty one. Looks like my comment was somewhat prophetic - current news is that they are NOT going to release the photos.

Hopefully they release the death pic soon to shut everyone up would be really nice! Are you kidding? There's someone who posted on this thread who wouldn't be convinced by any evidence they didn't already want to believe. That seems familiar... where have I heard that before...? ummmmm...

I watched some of those videos and added some comments to see if anyone bites Could prove to be fun. But, as mentioned previously, it's the same old tired arguments again... it would be so nice to have something original come up.

I would not celebrate, as some have been seen doing on the news, the fact that he is dead - to me all life is precious and shouldn't be wasted. Having said that, as the instigator and/or inspiration for terrible crimes, part of me is glad he is out of the way. It would have been good to see him stand trial, but that would have given him a showcase for more of his twisted thinking and a chance for his followers to do something more extravagant.

Is BAUT hosted on the Amazon Web Hosting service? I read that they are having major problems, and a lot of sites are out.

Sorry, I can't fight it any more... [Sings] "It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere... I'm all alone, more or less....."

No-one knows? How about the 12 men who actually walked on the Moon and the 6 who orbited in the CSMs? Don't you think they would know with absolute certainty? As certain as anyone can be. I get the feeling that the normal line of reasoning is not going to cut much ice with you.

A superb launch. I had hoped to be able to travel over and watch one of the last launches but, unfortunately, I just can't swing it. Best of luck to the crew and hope they make the most of it.
Interesting to see Johannes Kepler docked with the ISS the same day - that's a seriously smart bit of kit!

"...but He must have sensed something was amiss and fled. Our men gave chase in a moon buggy, finally overtaking Him in a crater ..."
I'd have thought the Creator could have moved a bit faster than that.... ;D
Someone out there obviously has far too much time on their hands...

Arthur C Clarke wrote a great short story on this idea - a man in orbit around the Moon in just a suit... cannot for the life of me remember the name of the story, but worth getting hold of.
Edit: It was "Maelstrom II", I have it in the "The Wind From The Sun" collection. Excellent stories all round.

Sorry, but eating glass is not an extraordinary thing - stupid thing maybe. It doesn't do anything for you and has the potential (albeit slight) to do damage to your insides.

Ok Hagbard, you've been vey helpfully provided with the names of some, if not all, of the probes investigating cis-lunar (and more) radiation up to the Apollo missions. Now do your research, look up what they found out and then come back and tell us in what way those recorded levels of radiation would have been too much for the shielding provided by the Apollo spacecraft.
Or, much easier, admit you have no grounds at all for suggesting that radiation was a problem and withdraw the notion.

Think of the amount of gold you'd need for the setting!

I know what was avaiable, but nobody has informed me whether it was actually used or not. However we can make an educated guess that it was. I'm talking about the Free Energy and/or antigracity craft that come from secret science projects. The technology comes from geniuses like Nikola Tesla and also back-engineered from the salvaged wreakage of extraterrestrial spacecraft, like the one that crashed as Roswell in 1947. Please provide documentary evidence of the existence and capabilites of these devices, and how they were used.
