An Eastern National Softball Champion pitcher!!! I must have missed that. My nephew is a 24 year old champion softball pitcher who , this summer, was invited to play with the famed "King and His Court" softball team at Lynx Stadium here in Ottawa. MoonMan. . . .PM me on this subject. We both live in the same city. Perhaps I could introduce you to my nephew. He really IS a Champion Softball Pitcher. Bill.

And, of course, the Moon is not 400,000 miles away Why don't people check their facts before posting assumptions? You know what happens when you assume?

I think his "Need Another Seven Astronauts" line goes far beyond glib ivan is a troll, and should be treated as such.

I think you are all misunderstanding that last exchange between margamatix and I. I know I took him off topic to elicit a response. Bottom line is that who cares? He was only here to yank as many chains as he could. I just called him out. I do not suffer morons or idiots. I will lurk here. I probably won't bother to post again in an HB thread. I lose patience far too quickly than the rest of you do. More power to you

To quote your Winston Churchill, "That is the kind of arguement up with which I will not put!" Stay on topic ********. Moderator . . . . ban me for 24 hours Edit: Here in the GWN the word "********" is a term of endearment.

Thats "ottawan" actually, but thanks. The fact that you are a "Leaf's" fan explains a lot. Leaf fans do not believe in the moon landings because they happened AFTER the last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup.
That was in 1967, when Canada had it's 100th birthday, and all the guys on the Leaf's team were the same age that I am now.
Wait a tic!
I digress
Rant concluded.

Oh, and thanks for that picture of Falcon at Hadley Rille.

Wow,
14 & 15.
Two missions in a row did not land perfectly horizontal.!!!
I think it HAS to be a hoax.
Shouldn't they all have landed in the vertical, assuming any of them landed at all?
Wait a tic!
Surveyor 3 landed on a slope. Apollo 12 landed right near Surveyor 3. Pete and Al brought pieces of Surveyor 3 back to Earth.
Yup, it must be a hoax.
Please, just once, can one HB provide me with one tiny shred of evidence that we never went to the moon?
Otherwise STFU.
I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Wankers.
How 'bout those Sens!!??!!

AstroSmurf,
I believe you are referring to Apollo 14 which landed on a slope at Fra Mauro.

I would suggest that adding a link will not work in this debate. I would further suggest that a "copy and paste" of your primary reason for the link would better serve the debate.
