Let's suppose I have a new Theory of Gravity that I have written up and mailed to the Library of Congress so for a copyright protection.
Now what? What would you do if you had such a theory? What magazine would you submit it to for review and discussion if you were me? I wonder if editors of several science magazines could appreciate it or understand it.

I think the first step would be to submit it to this forum for "peer review" Len That is a good idea. I think I will this or something similar. Perhaps some peers I can meet in person will have a look. I wonder what is safe since although a manuscript can be copyrighted, an idea cannot be. I wonder how Einstein protected The Theory of Relativity.

I do not want to be connected to Completetranslations.com.
Cut it out, Thompson.

I suggest you try posting to Against the Mainstream over on BAUT. You might want to check out this thread, and this one too. Before doing so, make sure that your theory not only explains all currently known observations and that it can effectively explain observations that the current theory doesn't, but that it explains them better and with less assumptions that the current theory. Treble check your math and be prepared for any mistakes to be shredded very quickly.

Uh, I believe Thompson got banned from BAUT. About 5 times. He is also the proprietor of completetranslations.com. But the problem seems to have been fixed.

And I find the company here much more educated and fair.
I doubt I will be banned here just because I express a view about projects like SETI@HOME that some don't want to hear only for some sort of half-thought reason or poor logic or even political (for lack of a better term) reasons.
But you know, none of this has anything to do with the topic of this discussion thread.

Then, if they think it is a good idea, you will hear about it.
