The new member ranks for the forum are: Posts | Rank | 0 | Mercury | 25 | Venus | 100 | Earth | 250 | Mars | 500 | Jupiter | 1000 | Saturn | 1500 | Neptune | 2500 | Uranus | 5000 | Pluto | 10000 | Leaving the Solar System | 15000 | The Vega System |
More ranks can be added as needed (it might not take some members long to reach 10,000 posts ).

Once you've hit 1,500, there's quite an incentive to get the next thousand in pretty quick ;D

LOL. Yeah... I can imagine the jokes directed at people with that rank.

I've actually thought about changing the titles so that they are descriptions of what the person is doing on a tour of the solar system... ie. Exploring Mercury, Studying Venus, Resting on Earth, Planting a Flag on Mars, etc.
When I thought about what the title for Uranus would be I thought it might be funny to have it say "Taking photographs of Uranus". lol

I could do something like that but it would have to be something I assign manually rather than being based on the number of posts they've made.

I like the idea of the ranks, not sure as to the ones choosen, but prehaps they grow on me. (a little like mould.) I'd have probably suggested rocket sizes, except might have gotten rocket envy. The idea of actual exploring type titles sounds better that just the name in some ways.

I'm open to suggestions, I chose these titles mostly just because the default ones sucked but I couldn't think of anything better. On my other forum I used these titles: Stargazer, X-15 Pilot, Mercury (sub-orbital), Mercury (orbital), Gemini Pilot, Gemini Commander, Apollo LMP, Apollo CMP, Apollo CDR, and Moonwalker. Something similar to that might be good, but I want something original (not an exact copy of my other forum).

Not bad, but as the Redstone was a fairly limited V-2 upgrade, I'm not sure it merits such a high placing. And I'd quite like to see Project Orion in there somewhere

Yeah my mistake, it needs swtiching with the Atlas, I'd say to put it in front of the Vorstok but since it launched men after, it should likely be higher.
