Congratulations, Moon Man, you've just been banned for doing the exact same thing that got Margamatix banned. You would think you'd have learned something from his mistakes, but apparently not.

At last, our long forum-wide nightmare is over.

Well I did send him a PM telling him, but either he ignored it, or didn't bother checking his mail. Since the whole Marg thing was well know, you'd have thought he'd have realised that doing so would result in banning, I guess he decided that being banned was the only way left to win.

he already had a thread removed the day before that just had links to those videos. Why he thought directly posting hte images would be better I have no idea.

Just out of curiosity, what were the pix of? An electrocution again? Nope, Saddam after he had been hung, I had the misfortune to see the post before LO dealt it and Moon Moron.

I specifically told him in a private message after he posted links to the execution video that doing so again would result in his banishment. Maybe I didn't make it clear that posting still images would have the same result, but it should have been obvious (especially considering why Margamatix was banned).
Why do HB's seem to go out of their way to get banned? Bragging rights? Is there a contest somewhere that I'm not aware of? I try to be fair, I really do, but there have to be some rules and posting gruesome images of an execution is clearly going too far.

A great deal of it seems to me to be a matter of thumping one's chest and shouting "Me Tarzan!", although Canada's 33 millionth leading space expert didn't seem to fall into that category so much. . .

Good bye and good riddance. I'm sorry, but someone who can present a stack of debatable arguements gets about a google (not the search engine, the number) more times the respect from me than some twit pretending to be a know it all. I still am curious why Moonman would go all silent around my age regression posts, do I have I talent I am not aware of? Why? Anyone. Heck all I do is work with TV cameras each day, and posses a demented sense of humour. What is intimidating about that?

I'll sorta miss him he was the forum's unofficial class clown.

...about a google (not the search engine, the number)... Googol. And, oh darn, I missed all the fun.

I find it personally gratifying that Gerald Ford died on the same weekend - that means that Saddam's execution didn't receive nearly the press here in the US that it would have otherwise (the news has been full of President Ford's funeral instead).
That is exactly what Saddam most deserves - to be forgotten quickly and with a minimum of media coverage.

Even James Brown's death received nearly as much media attention as Saddam's did.
