I'd hate to be the one paying the food bill for the 100,000 chinese soldiers who have been hiding under NYC for what? 2 years now? Maybe that explains all the chinese take-out places in NYC... feeding the troops.

If that's so...
... there must be a large Chinese Army hiding under every major city in the Western world!

Now there's a fine old English working class oath or blasphemy from the 17th century. According to my 1926 edition of Websters (sorry, there's no link, for some odd reason) it apparently means God's hooks -- the nails of the cross. Similar to Gadzoons/Gazoons/Gadswoons (God's wounds) and Crikey (Christ kick me). Cripes is Chr***'s p**s. I once had a Methodist minister in my camera store who was exclaiming about something and a number of times said, "Crikey dick." I thought, "Hey man, bet you wouldn't say that if you knew what it meant!" Apologies for the off-topic ramble. Couldn't resist.

My predictions..
1. The national debt will pop the $9 trillion mark.
2. In his State of the Union address, Pres. Bush will enthusiastically declare that "the US economy has never been healthier". This will serve to placate the insecurities and worries of at least 90 - 95% of the American public. They are even happier upon seeing that they didn't pre-empt a single minute of the latest episode of "Desperate Housewives"
3. The remaining 5 - 10% of the people are still leery and very skeptical from the many years of past government speciosity.. So after the Address, they watch the economic "experts" trotted out on CNN for their analyses.. After viewing for 20 minutes, in what seems to have been 5 hours, the unfortunate viewers will either have fallen asleep or turned into glassy-eyed zombies from the nonsensical meanderings that are the hallmark of "econo-speak". Snapping out of their daze at the next commercial break, they decide to take comfort in the knowledge that none of the "experts" seem to have mentioned the $9 trillion debt, or anything beyond a minor disapproval by a token Democrat..
So it must not be such a big deal, after all. They can still catch the last 40 minutes of "Desperate Housewives".

Oh..almost forgot...
4. Al-jazeera will release one or two "newly acquired" Bin Laden recordings. Within 5 minutes of hearing them for the first time, the CIA will declare they are the "100% genuine, authentic" voice of Bin Laden.

Heh. I think your percentages may be a little off, but I have a lot more confidence in those predictions than in the stuff Rusty keeps dredging up from "prophetesses" and the like.

Of course not, because he perfectly covered his tracks, which proves it's true. Heck, after single-handedly faking Apollo, Viet Nam, Watergate, and Canada, finding a look-alike corpse was a cakewalk for ol' Tricky Dick. Nixon faked Canada? You mean its existence? Or something else?

44. Many on this forum will continue to live in denial about the kind of world we really live in. However, some may get a sudden wake up call very soon... We know what kind of world we live in, we don't think there are prophets out there who can tell the future through some sort of devine revelation. I don't see how belief in prophets and an understanding of the state of the world are at all related. What about this kind of prophet? Pierce has a good track record with his predictions. On the dark side, the author of this article notes that his ministry is based in Colorado Springs, along with Northcom and other military bases. She thinks the military may be leaking its plans to further enslave this country to a false prophet in order to convince people it's the hand of God. watch.pair.com/chuck-pierce.html

Nixon faked Canada? You mean its existence? Absolutely! Just another in a long line of distractions to keep the American public from paying attention to what was really going on.

Loony? What's loony about a theory that the military is leaking intel on future treasonous attacks on this country to one of their own who poses as a prophet of God?
Pierce certainly isn't talking to God, yet his batting average is pretty good.
The only question I have is why? What does the military get out of this? So it remains just a theory for now.

Perhaps he really IS talking to God, who are you to say? Do you have a divin-o-meter to check for false prophets?

Besides predicting that a major hurricane would strike the US starting in Florida in the "next 22 montsh" in Febuary 2004 (this period ended in Dec 2005 Katrina struck in August) what other predictions has he made that have come true? Anyone can make a lot of general predictions, many of which are likely to happen and have a good number come true. The site states as fact that the US military can contol the weather an idea with NO scientific or factual backing. DH - Do you take all this stuff you read on those CT sites at face value? Don't you ever try to think critically about it? Loony? What's loony about a theory that the military is leaking intel on future treasonous attacks on this country to one of their own who poses as a prophet of God?
