That's all a very nice quote, but I bet I could find something much more impressive said by Duane, or Jack White or someone like that.

To the victor go the spoils, and it's more often the case that the victor has won by a small margin than by a large one. One thing I've wondered about Pearse is whether he ever intended to develop and market an aeroplane commercially. The Wrights, I know, were absolutely focused on the commercial applications of the Flyer. Hence they were well motivated to advertise their own success.

but what happens in life demands some philosophy, at least to me. There is logic or philosophy for why you prefer this quote. sure that my reality is a mirror to my mind. Everything starts in the mind, and I believe that the thaughts if they are thaught of so much will ecome part of my reality and belief, which will lead me to act in a certain way at a certain time, even if I think that I will not do so and so. It is like brainwashing. If someone keeps on telling you something Or you keep on thinking about something, it becomes part of you. By the way, and since we are speaking about quotes, I like an Indian quote that says: "If the water overflows continuously over the hard rock, it will make it soft." In Lebanon we also say: "If the dough doesn't stick all, part of it will." Here we come to the personality of you, which some argue it is inherited or inborn. It depends on how you view that negative or positive experience. A person born blind may devote his life to God, the other might become an athiest. It is also dependable on how you were raised to view experiences. I disagree. At many times , you don't know yourself, hence the great philosopher Socrates says: "Know Thy Self". I should test my self in a sense to know what I am. Remember Freud's example of the dream where someone might dream that his father is dead, but when he wakes up he refuses this fact? Freud says that in reality, he[the dreamer] wishes that his father is dead (of course, it depends on the situation to explain the dream). Although I am still young (24 yrs old) and still has lots of experiences to learn from, I certainly acquired knowledge about my reality when I was put to test by experiences. Although I speak a lot about my personal life here and bother you, but I prefer to keep these intimate things for myself.
