Good news everyone! Over four years after we lost the apollohoax .com domain I have been able to reaquire it. After the previous owner of the site accidently let the domain registration expire (entirely not his fault since he wasn't given the details from the original owner) the domain was snatched up by cybersquatters. So if you went to that URL you would see a page of advertisements, none of which were related to Apollo. When I registered the apollohoax.net domain back in 2005 I also put in a backorder for the .com, hoping it would eventually become available. And today it finally paid off. For now I'm just going to redirect the apollohoax.com domain to the apollohoax.net address because after all these years that is how we are best known. But I'm glad the domain is in our hands again and can't be used by hoax believers or scammers.

Great news! Is it too much to hope for that the old posts can be recovered?

Unfortunately, no. I recovered the domain name, but not the information on the old site.

Old posts were searchable via the Google cache for a while there, but that has long since expired.

Old posts were searchable via the Google cache for a while there, but that has long since expired. Perhaps Archive.org's Wayback machine can help out for a bit?
