I think I might want to read the rest of that book, having already read chapter one over and over and over and over...

I'll order my copy when my debunking-check comes in. I know that the New World Order doesn't pay any of us well, so we have to stick together!!
Seriously though, congrats. I look forward to reading it.

In my email today: Hello from Amazon.ca.
We wanted to let you know there's a delay with one or more items in the order you placed on June 03 2010 (Order# xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).
Dwight Steven-Boniecki "Live TV from the Moon" Estimated ship date: July 22 2010 - August 11 2010
Okay, Dwight - what's the delay?

It might be faster for someone from Apogee to deliver one to you personally, Ginnie.

Just as long as it's not a Spacecraft Films delay, I'm still waiting for my copy of Apollo 12, ordered on the 11th of Dec 2008!

And I'm still waiting for Challenger, ordered 2nd January 2009...
The trick with SCF seems to be never order anything they don't have in stock that very moment, because their ability to keep to projected dates for releases and re-stocks seems to be quite poor.
Still a great product and so-on, but not so good on delivery.

The delay? Well see the thing is... <makes a dash for the nearest airport pockets stuffed with cash>
Now for the serious explanation: Apogee are delivering the book to all the suppliers at the moment. I can pretty much assure you that it wont be that long. Those of you in the UK will have to wait a little longer as the books take somewhat longer to get there. I anticipate the end of the month, but please don't hold me to that - there is very little I can do to the deliveries from Germany. However, this much is sure: the book is printed and is being distributed as we speak - the official release date was pushed back by a month.

The book arrived today! Glad to see it has lots of pictures and a bonus DVD. I've only started reading it - but found a typo of sorts - a missing closing bracket (page 12) . (including frame-by-frame analysis of the color transmissionsBTW - Dwight, do you still work for the CBC? BTW (again) - I was just thinking: wouldn't it be cool if there were webcams at all the Apollo sites? I wonder how much that would cost...

Hi Ginnie, I'm glad that your first impressions are positive! Those damn typos - despite a million proofreads just never want to go away!! When I get the time I will add a page to the book's website which lists any errors/typos.
The CBC I work for is not the Canadian TV channel, but a playout centre here in Cologne.
Webcams are not unreasonable and the Lunar X competitors could possibly add such a device to any future robotic lander.
I hope you enjoy the read.

I am, though, being the subject matter that it is - I'm mentally challenged. But I hope to learn a lot from your book. I've always been interested in the history of things.

So who did you have to sleep with to get your copy so soon? Amazon hasn't even shipped mine yet.

So who did you have to sleep with to get your copy so soon? Amazon hasn't even shipped mine yet. I don't know why, but the book is published and printed by Apogee Books /Collectors Guide Publishing in Burlington, Ont. (LO's vicinity), which is about about 70 km. from here. I wonder if Amazon shipped it straight from the publisher? EDIT: Just checked the parcel - no, it was shipped from Amazon.Ca which is in Mississauga, Ont. - about 80 km from here. BTW - Mississauga (Amazon.ca) is 37 km from Burlington (the Publisher). Not very far.
