41 years ago Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first people to walk on the lunar surface. The whole of humanity was able to share in this event via a small B&W TV camera.
What a day. What an event.
For the over 400 000 people who helped make that dream a reality, I humbly thank you.

I was going to watch my Spacecraft Films Apollo 11 DVDs (like I do every July 20), but decided to start watching From the Earth to the Moon instead. It's been a while since I've seen it.
