APOLLO'S SOLUTION, THE LOST BIRD OF MOON BASE 00 41 15 23 26 00
Of all the themes I have employed as a metaphorical aid in seeking "Apollo's Solution", certainly none has served me as well as the image of Eagle, the Lost Bird. In response to every direct or implied query hitherto posed, I humbly submit this analysis. This piece seeks to provide comprehensive answers to all questions, and will demonstrate the striking internal incoherence of the official Apollo 11 moon landing story. As internally incoherent, the official story cannot be true. In this addressing of all challenges so far presented, in my demonstrating the simple truth in the notion of of Apollo's being more theater than high tech science, this author will propose one fairly detailed counter story, one fairly detailed alternative version of what happened on 20 July 1969. The hypothetical in rough outline as presented here is not offered as Apollo's absolute truth, but as a not entirely unreasonable alternative. Working with such hypotheticals such as the one proposed below is instructive in as much as they help to demonstrate for the uninitiated, those unfamiliar with the general idea of Apollo as fraud, that alternative scenarios do make a great deal of sense simply because they are more consistent with the facts. Apollo as conventionally presented cannot be true. If we seek the reality of 20 July 1969 we must begin with hypotheticals as they are, nothing more, nothing less, than the thoughtful creation of alternative scenarios that move us closer to the truth. If our hypotheticals are created from the perspective of honoring facts in the telling of the stories of our lives, then indeed our lives must become more meaningful and manageable because they are grounded in something of substance. However odd and unconventional an alternative Apollo scenario may strike one at first blush, the structure of a hypothetical helps to emphasize the inconsistencies of NASA's official narrative, helps to emphasize where the official story has lost contact with reality and so must be at those lack of contact points changed. Hypotheticals illustrate by example where it is that the official story lost its way and for want of a better term, became a lie. Hypotheticals give us the courage to move away from this lie, move away from the mindlessness of crowd-think, move away from NASA's bogus official narrative. We have everything to gain and nothing to lose in so moving away because in so doing we see the conventional story of Apollo for the horrible distortion of President Kennedy's once grand vision that it is, and in so doing we find peace in truth.
So I will begin my response in answer to my challengers' every query with one possible alternative Apollo scenario. Those with an open mind, please follow me and I pray only that you consider my points and have a think for yourselves. Apollo, as the last 42 years have known it, is indeed fraudulent. My challengers have subjected me to relentless derision in their cries for me to present my own alternative version, and so I will. My alternative version of 07/20/1969 makes only one claim, that it is more consistent with the facts of that day, 20 July 1969, than NASA's official accounting.
After I present in rough outline this one Apollo alternative, I will move on to engage in a full scale deconstruction of the official narrative by demonstrating that based on NASA's own accounting of events, based on NASA's own documents, the Eagle was lost on 07/20/1969. As it cannot be imagined to be the case in any conceivable universe that NASA could quite literally lose a spaceship, claim to have no idea where a spaceship is, on the most important day in that spaceship's life, not to mention the most important day in the lives of the spaceship's crew, we shall see that NASA's own admission to having lost its bird is more than self incriminating and amounts to an admission of Apollo's fraud.
One last house keeping point before beginning with my answer to your questions, some may find my treatment of the astronauts rather harsh. Please be aware, if I seem to poke fun at times, it is only the characters played by the astronauts in the Apollo script I make reference to. The flesh and blood men, I do not know, though my sense is they are courageous and have endured much, lived particularly difficult lives protecting a great deceit penned by others. This is long and I will need to post in multiple/several parts. Read it all before you write back. And so, I encourage those who may be courageous enough to countenance the difficult truth to read on and learn what really did go down on 20 July 1969.

The difficulty of course that is inherent in dealing with Apollo as mystery, as opposed to buying in to the view of Apollo as historic fact, is that once entering the realm of Apollo with a skeptical eye, it is quite difficult to keep one's facts straight. Now that I have emerged from the most diabolically disorienting hall of mirrors ever contrived, dazed a bit though I still may be, with this hard won truth, I now enjoy an ever growing sense of strength and clarity. Intentionally misleading, lying, it confuses us all, both tellers and those deceived. It contrives to take from us that which we value most, our reason. Who ever could have imaged that Apollo would be, that Apollo is, present tense, so very injurious? But why on the other hand could someone have imagined otherwise? Such robust deceit, it could have only gone this way.
I can plainly see now that for me, the greatest difficulty as regards my travels through this maze, had to do with distinguishing the facts of Apollo, the actual material events, from that which was said, or shown, or written, or acted out by people. It is a statement referencing the obvious, but in this situation, as others of my ilk well know, one must develop some kind of rigorous mechanism in being able to classify Apollo's many images. One must distinguish with great care between what happened in the space-time of 07/20/1969, distinguish between that which one can reliably identify as the genuine flesh and blood events of 1969's summer, and Apollo as the chimeric mirage falsely presented to us as "history". After not an insignificant amount of fact jostling, it turns out, there was never a good reason to accept Apollo as anything more than nonsense after all. But it is hard for us to see, so much external pressure to buy into the obviously bogus.
Apollo as conventionally presented was not real, is not real, cannot be real. When floating through this zero G realm where there is no up, down, sideways, truth, take care to keep your wits. It is not easy! Ask, "Is this a fact? Did this happen or did somebody just say it did?" Demand substance or you will be lost in this dark, cold, black and unfriendly space.

I will proceed with my presentation of an alternative view. I would like to sketch for the reader one possible alternative outline of Apollo, as it may have gone down in the frigidly cislunar imaginations of the fraud's authors. This particular scenario makes only one definite claim, that it is much more consistent with the facts of Apollo than the official story as presented to us by NASA. We'll begin with what roughly amounts to conclusions about what may well be the case as regards Apollo given facts I will present below, facts with rigorous support from NASA's own literature as well as independent scientific literature, the original papers on the Lunar Ranging Retro-Reflector experiments and so forth. Such an approach is rather unconventional, but I am sure my readers will quickly warm to its merits. Lets take a look at this alternative scenario, and then we'll "back track" and examine the facts in the case. As mentioned, ample, detailed, and accurate references to support all claims will be provided. In this relatively brief introductory segment, I will not however offer much in the way of detailed references. I take this approach as a means to quickly orient my readers and given them a good old fashioned Saturn V jolt in welcoming everyone to this new and most interesting world. Rest assured, the bedrock solid support will quickly follow. Onward.

In January of 1968, the unmanned U.S. spacecraft Surveyor VII landed on the moon's Tycho ejecta blanket at lunar coordinates 40.89 S and 11.44 W. Surveyor VII carried a camera which filmed and then transmitted to earth star like images. Images so obtained when two argon lasers fired directly at Surveyor VII's lunar coordinates. The targeting observatories were at at Kitt Peak near Tuscon and at Table Mountain near Los Angeles. The images were received with enthusiasm by the investigators involved in the Surveyor laser project, as this laser filming successfully demonstrated the feasibility of what were to become known as Lunar Ranging Retro-Reflector(LRRR) experiments. Scientists reasoned that if one could photograph/film laser light as did Surveyor VII, then one may well be able to place a special "mirror", a reflective surface, upon the moon and instead of photographing/filming the light, bounce it off the reflective "mirror" and "catch it" here back on earth. In so doing, one could measure the distance between the earth and moon with great precision. Additionally, one would demonstrate unambiguously that someone or something put the LRRR, the "mirror", up there.
1968 was well into our decade long lunar landing charge. JFK's clarion call to reach the moon by 12/31/1969 was not long off. Somewhere well before Surveyor VII landed, the principals most responsible for our moon landing efforts, came to the conclusion that it was not feasible for multiple technical reasons to land men on the moon. An alternative project to fake a moon landing was concocted. If executed well enough, however short sighted this view was, it would nevertheless provide just as much favorable impact wise as a bona fide landing would. If the American people were fooled well enough, they would be every bit as proud as were the thing real. If the Russians were fooled well enough, they would be every bit as scared of us as were we to really have landed on the moon. With regard to the Russian issue. It need not necessarily be the case that they were entirely fooled, but for the sake of proceeding on, let's assume that to be so for now. We may return to political goals/aims/effects later as/if appropriate.
With a plan to fake a moon landing fully in swing, an unmanned spacecraft flies to the Sea of Tranquility sometime well before Neil Armstrong's famous moon walk on 07/20/1969. The craft carries a LRRR. It has landed at lunar coordinates
00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. This unmanned LRRR packing craft now sits at the site we all will one day call "Tranquility Base".
On 13 July 1969, the unmanned Soviet spacecraft Luna 15 is launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The craft enters lunar orbit on 17 July 1969. There, it "awaits" the phantom Apollo 11. The Russian ship threatens not to physically harm an imagined Eagle or Columbia, but rather to photograph the Eagle's landing site, photograph Tranquility Base. The machine is said to be equipped with a camera as well as lunar soil collecting tools. Some believe the craft is being directed to collect lunar soil samples and bring them back to earth. Regardless of that aspect of Luna 15's capabilities, there will be no landing of the Eagle on 07/20/1969 given the sobering technical difficulties posed in such a landing, not to mention in the returning of such an imagined astronaut safely back to earth. The Russians know that Armstrong/Aldrin's mission is one in which an LRRR is to be deployed. If the Russians could only target the LRRR themselves with one of their lasers and find it that way, or figure out what the Tranquility Base's coordinates are before or during the time of the pretended landing, the reds then would be in a position to act as spoilers, threaten us by showing pictures of a PLANTED LRRR, a planted LRRR sans associated astronauts. The threat posed by Luna 15 was that it could demonstrate the inauthenticity of Apollo 11's landing by photographing the Tranquility Base site under for what would be on the Americans' side, the most unfavorable of lights.
Back in the United States, a team of scientists, engineers and support staff make ready to turn one of the most powerful lasers the world had ever seen right smack dab on lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. They do not know those exact coordinates yet. Prior to Apollo 11's take off on 07/16/1969, the Lick staff had a rough idea where Eagle was supposed to settle down. On 07/20/1969 they stood ready by the phone waiting to be informed of the Eagle's precise coordinates. As soon as Armstrong/Aldrin set the LRRR down, the coordinates were to be relayed from Houston to Lick, and the return of the observatory's ruby red light would be for sure's sake absolute and undeniable proof positive that Armstrong and Aldrin were up there shuffling 'round in the lunar powder. Journalists gathered there at Lick that night, mad for the great scoop, the light that would prove we made it to the moon. Indeed, as explicitly stated by NASA, the whole point of Apollo 11 was to simply or not so simply as the case may be, show that sure as shoot, the thing could be done, pulled off. Send 'em up and bring 'em down. Take pics, gather rocks, hit the lunar mirror on the very night of the landing in front of the whole insanely impressed planet and WOW the heck out of every body.
Now this is not the best of situations for our boys to be in, Buzz and Neil. The Lick Observatory Laser Project people of course have to be told the coordinates of the planted LRRR, 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E because it is part of the theater, part of the Apollo illusion. So a way has to be devised to keep the coordinates from the Russians so they do not spoil our party and at the same time, give the coordinates to the Lick people because that is what they are expecting after all. The Lick scientists were sitting there the evening of 07/20/1969 at the console of their great telescope ready as ever to blast that celestial rock.
Apollo 11 takes off on 07/16/1969. During the days of the alleged exploration, Armstrong/Aldrin/Collins remain in low earth orbit, on the earth, or perhaps both. One thing we can be absolutely certain of, they do not travel across the void of cislunar space to the moon. That technology did not exist then as it obviously does not exist now. Apollo 11 was staged, scripted. Apollo 11 was grand theater.
On 07/20/1969 the Apollo 11 script prominently features lines making points which its principals emphasize on that day and continue to emphasize well after the astronauts alleged to have gone to the moon make their staged return. Some of the fraud's most critical lines were statements made emphasizing that upon the Eagle's landing, no one knew, no one could determine exactly where that silly bird was. It was said to be in and around the area originally planned as a landing site, but Houston couldn't track it well enough to locate it, Michael Collins alleged to be floating about the orb during his colleagues' walk could of course not spot them from 60 miles up, and unbelievably, even the astronauts themselves could not find themselves. The official Apollo story would have us believe that were any of this real to begin with, Armstrong and Aldrin once down on the lunar surface wouldn't know squat about sighting celestial objects(sun, earth, planets) with their navigational equipment and finding themselves. Two super test pilots down on the lunar surface, lost. The Eagle, lost!!!! So these two very much not Eagle scouts, walk around on the moon and we, the general public, are presented by NASA and its apologists with the flat out ludicrous scenario that without so much as knowing their location on the moon's surface, they can some way blast back off and find their way back to Collins. I'll present undeniable evidence for this below.
Back in Houston where most believe the landings to be real, there of course is a different line delivered to all and understood by a select few. If the principals of the fraud tried to present in real time a scenario in which the Eagle and the astronauts were flat out lost, the likelihood of some bright engineer saying, "Hey wait a nanosecond, something fishy is going on here", would be quite high. So in the communications with Houston, one hears the astronauts running through their routine to find their latitude and longitude on the lunar surface. So the real time interaction with Houston on the surface looks OK to the few technical people who may have an interest. There are a few well placed allusions written into the script which make reference to the astronauts doing what they would quite naturally be expected to be doing immediately upon landing , orienting themselves on the planet. However, with most of us dumb suckers out here, NASA tells us they had no clue at all where their boys were. 00 41 15 N 23 26 00 E, what's that??????
Back at Lick, well Houston calls them on 07/20/1969 with those coordinates,
00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E, the scientists there are outright salivating photons, waiting on the edge of their lecterns to take a shot at the LRRR. But dang it, no light bounces back. It turns out that the experiment is in a sense sabotaged. I will provide details below. It is important to note here in this outline that if the Lick experiment were to work, then the coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E would be announced to the world. And if that were to occur, then the Russians would know where to snake their own bird and perhaps land themselves at 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E, taking a shot or two of the American LRRR without Buzz and Neil anywhere to be seen. As long as the Lick scientists can't find Tranquility Base, there is little threat from the Russians, even if they were to stumble on those coordinates via a spy or what not. 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E looks for all the world at first to the Lick guys as maybe not the right place, or something else is going on anyway. No one back on earth can confirm an LRRR at 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. Why should the Russians look their, even if they were to score an off hand inside tip?
Luna 15 winds up crashing on 07/21/1969 and the direct threat of the Russian unmanned craft embarrassing the US space effort was averted, at least in the short term.
All kinds of totally bogus, not even remotely credible jive is proffered as to why the LRRR experiment did not work on the evening of 07/20/1969. The laser light at Lick miraculously found the lunar mirror on 08/01/1969, literally a week and a half after Armstrong and Aldrin did not do their thing. It would appear that the experiment was desabotaged once the Russian threat had passed. The journalists that camped out at Lick on the evening of the staged landing were sent home disappointed, but people cheered for the laser bounce back nonetheless on 08/01/1969, even though the first report of a ruby red laser light bounce back in the face of Lick astronomers would have been infinitely more dramatic were it to have occurred coincident with the landing.
When one reads materials on the Apollo project now, in general the official story's own emphasis is on the "Lost Bird" theme, that Neil and Buzz and the Eagle did not know where they were. That said, as two different approaches had to be taken with those gamed on 07/20/1969 and beyond, one still occasionally may find references to activities in which on that evening of the first staged landing, when for the most part, the party line to the general public was, "We do not know where these guys are exactly", some people such as the navigational guys in Houston and the Lick people had to be told either explicitly 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E, or be informed for example through indirect means by way of simply listening to the astronauts' staged dialogue with Houston that they indeed were doing what they were supposed to be doing to locate themselves on the surface of the moon. So ends a rough outline of a more probable accounting of Apollo. This is one suggested scenario. Many others should be considered. Let's now look at some facts with well referenced support to see why my proposed scenario above is more consistent with the reality of 07/20/1969 than is NASA's official Apollo 11 narrative. Ironically, though certainly not surprisingly given the circumstances, it is those facts as documented by NASA itself and the very claims of the Apollo 11 astronauts themselves that more than anything else undermine NASA's own version of the Apollo tale, and demonstrate with utter certainty that the Eagle never landed.

I shall begin my critical analysis and deconstruction of the official Apollo story's heart by providing evidence that there was a concerted effort to dupe people into believing that had two highly trained astronauts actually landed on the moon with the equipment they were purported to have had, under the circumstances given in the official story narrative, they would have had no way of determining within reason where it was that their alleged Eagle had landed. From there I shall move on to demonstrate that orienting oneself on the surface of the moon, determining one's location as regards lunar latitude and longitude within reasonable limits, limits that would be determined by way of simple appeal to the navigational equipment specs, would be an easy thing to do were all or any of Apollo a real occurrence. I'll move on to show that despite the astronauts' playing dumb with the majority of the public at large and pretending in the context of this staged exploration of the moon to have absolutely no idea where in Hades they were, this pair of NASA employees simultaneously were feigning to be actually going through the appropriate machinations of coordinate determination. This, as a sort of lip service to the astronaut-actors' obvious need to demonstrate to guidance technicians and scientists that they were not ignoring what the guidance people knew they should be doing. There would be some people there in Houston, a small, elite, important few of the technicians/engineers/scientists that would say, "What the heck is this, can't they sight the sun, the earth, a few stars and figure out where in all blazes they are?" I'll demonstrate how the Lick scientists, some of them anyway, were gamed. They would be given the coordinates of Tranquility Base on the evening of 07/20/1969, only to find that when they targeted and fired their laser, no report, no reflection was received as expected. I'll show that the reason for this failure of the LRRR experiment had nothing at all to do with lack of information as regards Eagle's purported coordinates, 00 41 15N and 23 26 00 E, but instead would seem to have had to do with what I propose is in all likelihood sabotage, though my case depends not on this charge. For my general themes to be validated, it will be more than sufficient to simply demonstrate that the astronauts and NASA in general lied in foisting upon us this pretense that the Eagle was lost because there was insufficient data on the evening of 07/20/1969 to determine within the requisite limits, the location of "Tranquility Base". With the argument as outlined completed and of course properly supported by appropriate references, we shall be left with only one conclusion, the bird was never really lost, as she never really flew and the entirety of this space charade shall once and for all be exposed for the culture damaging wrong headed enterprise that it should have been recognized to be from the ever loving' start.

In the Apollo narrative as conventionally presented, the LM is said to have settled some distance from the intended landing site. Per the Post Launch Mission Operation Report of 24 July 1969(No. M-932-69-11), the then best estimate of the landing coordinates , based on an analysis of all data available at that time was .64 N and 23.5 E. This was said to have been 20,800 feet west and 4,000 to 5,000 feet south of the planned landing ellipse. The site altitude suggested for the purported Tranquility Base was 8,600 feet below the moon's mean radius. The reason Armstrong was said to have flown this imaginary bird away from the planned point of touchdown was the auto targeting system was said to have been directing the LM to a football-field sized crater(Apollo 11 Technical Transcript 04 06 55 16).
At this point, having just touched down at lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E were any of this real, the first and most reasonable thing to do would be to shut down the Eagle's engine and determine one's position, one's coordinates on the surface of the moon, for no other reason than to let those concerned about you know where you are, for safety's sake. Furthermore, as regards one safety concern in particular for this imagined situation, Collins, the alleged command module pilot, would need to know where Armstrong and Aldrin were. In this Apollo novel, they may need to take off urgently, and Collin's in such an imagined scenario would need to make the appropriate adjustments. So here is the take Armstrong wishes us to walk away with, he's happy to be on the moon, and by the way, he is not particularly concerned that he's lost in space. This quote from the Apollo Technical Voice Transcript at 04 07 02 03.
CDR.(TRANQ) "Houston, the guys that said that we wouldn't be able to tell precisely where we are are the winners today.
We were a little busy worrying
about program alarms and things like that in the part of the descent where we would
normally be picking out our landing spot; and aside from a good look at several of the
craters we came over in the final descent, I haven't been able to pick out the things on
the horizon as a reference as yet."
I would imagine the boys back on earth at the Lick Observatory would not be so taken with this attitude of Armstrong's. They are waiting to be fed the magic numbers 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E and commence with the photon bouncing. Armstrong and Aldrin are the only guys that can acquire these numbers. Houston can't, Collins can't. It is important to keep in mind of course that first and foremost, none of this jive is real. This is acting. As we progress along, readers will see more and more clearly so with each step, each shuffle through this phony lunar powder, that the story is so internally incoherent, so internally inconsistent, it cannot be anything but space bull. The other point which I alluded to above in my alternative sketch of Apollo's events is that the actor-astronauts' roles have two critical demands here at this juncture of our play, first and foremost, they must convince everyone they do not know where they are. There is a LRRR sitting at 00 41 15 N, 23 26 00 E and they don't want the Ruskies taking any sorts of pot shots at the thing, with a camera, or any other weapon for that matter. 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E cannot be allowed to light up just yet until the luna 15 crashes or drifts away from Tranquility for good. Also, Buzz and Neil have a second audience for whom they must perform. First and foremost, it is a subset of the technical people there at Mission Control. It would be a minority of the guys there at the consoles and elsewhere, but an important minority indeed. For these dedicated Apollo workers, dedicated but nonetheless incredibly duped like the rest of us, Armstrong and Aldrin must be PERCEIVED as going through the anticipated drill of sighting stars(Aldrin's job). The Apollo fraud is dependent upon the mission's guidance personal believing as real that which is only a feigned process of Aldrin determining the imaginary Eagle's latitude and longitude on an imaginary lunar surface. Armstrong and Aldrin as actors need not perform directly for the Lick people. The principals of the Apollo deception more likely than not knew some time well back before 07/20/1969 that they had a perfectly good LRRR up there. They planted it there with an unmanned probe and undoubtedly had tested the thing plenty of times. There was no room for error in this real event part of the chicanery. After all, the report back of ruby red laser light, albeit a week and a half after the pretended space jaunt of Armstrong and Aldrin, would provide PROOF!, a demonstration of Apollo's reality occurring outside the strict purview of NASA. Just not yet though, no photons would be allowed to bounce until the proverbial coast was clear.
Let's check out Michael Collins in the command module overhead. This comes from Collins' book, "Carrying the Fire". Considered a classic by many, not coauthored and so admired. These words come directly from the command module pilot's mouth(page 407 of the Bantam paper back 1983 reprint, book originally published in 1974).
"Of course the ground can take its measurements as well, but it really has no way of judging where the LM came down, except by comparing Neil and Buzz's description of their surrounding terrain with the rather crude maps that Houston has."
So according to Apollo's third and so very very much not an Eagle scout Michael Collins, Houston has no way of judging where on mother earth's closest luminary Neil and Buzz might be except by looking on a map and comparing that with what Armstrong and Aldrin tell the boys in Houston. Hopeless? You betcha'! Thankfully, we can safely assume these two thespians are safe back on earth, or perhaps actually in space, in low earth orbit. They sure wouldn't be allowed to actually go to the moon, not Armstrong and Aldrin, not if they can't find the sun and the earth with a multimillion dollar navigational system. I had been under the impression they were participating in simulations day and night. They sure do not appear to be managing their chores at MIT's Guidance Navigation and Control console very well.
Obviously, this cannot be happening in terms of it being representative of real life events. Collins, like Armstrong is acting. How can he expect to pick Armstrong and Aldrin up for a shuttle ride home if the lost pilots cannot apply the most basic principles of orientation to locate themselves upon the surface of the moon to begin with? Fantasy, it cannot possibly be anything else. And an appeal to even the most irrational of explorers' calculi would not allow provisions for such nonsense, the world's greatest adventurers skipping about on the surface of the moon and caring not one whit for where in all creation they might be, and how on God's great earth they hope to find their way back to the very same God's great earth.
Readers might well suggest that surly I must be making this stuff up. Please indulge me. I have more, lots more. Consider Leon Wagner's, "One Giant Leap". The book proudly features the subtitle, "Neil Armstrong's Stellar American Journey". Hey!, wasn't Neil the same guy denying the stars? Oh well, I guess this author is entitled to claim them back even if Neil did seem to have quite an aversion to their light some 45 years prior to this book's publication. Booklist's review states this biography was written from, "painstaking research and interviewing". I have the paper bound version of the book. With reference to our lost bird and its pair of keepers Wagener writes;
"While Houston and Eagle prepared for liftoff, feeding coordinates into the computer that would, with luck, achieve a smooth rendezvous with Columbia on its twenty-fifth lunar orbit, there were two nagging worries. One was a slightly embarrassing technical failure: Houston wasn't precisely sure where Tranquility Base was located on the lunar surface. Ever since touchdown, NASA's geological survey team had been scrambling to unravel just how far away from the planned landing site Neil had gone while scrambling to avoid the deadly escarpment.
The United States Geological Survey in Houston and the Center for Astrogeology in Flagstaff, Arizona, desperately studying maps and analyzing information available, had finally come to a consensus. But it was just an educated guess. There had been no provision for an aborted site and a zig-zag, last-second dash to find a safe landing zone. The one hope for a completely accurate fix was the laser retro-reflector experiment Aldrin and Armstrong had assembled a few hours prior. But, thus far Houston hadn't been able to locate the reflector with the laser.
Less than an hour prior to scheduled liftoff, Capsule Communicator Ron Evans apologetically briefed the astronauts on the situation: "We have fairly high confidence that we know the position of the Eagle. However, it is possible that we may have a change of plans. But in the worst case it could be up to 30 feet per second, and of course we don't expect that at all". Meaning: If they were far off Eagle's location, a successful rendezvous would require some quick and accurate throttling up or down to thread the needle properly tricky work at 5,000 miles per hour. Of course, it was for such contingencies that Buzz Aldrin, a man with a genius for astrophysics, who held a Ph.D. in space rendezvous from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Neil Armstrong, one of the coolest hands in the history of aviation, were chosen for the job. NASA believed the Apollo 11 team could do it, and so did they. In the end, NASA's failure to ascertain the exact location of Tranquility Base had no great impact on the docking of Columbia and Eagle, which was fortunate, because it wasn't until 5 days after splash-down on July 29, when film taken by the astronauts was processed and studied, that an official determination was reached."
WOW! All I can say after reading that is, and I mean this with the greatest sincerity and say it with an absolutely straight face, no wonder Neil Armstrong is such a recluse, no wonder his plight has engendered my sympathies. Who who who who in all bloody red white and blue blazes writes this drivel? The most amazing thing about these accounts of dealing with the plight of our lost bird is how can anyone expect us to believe that this would not be the reality, if not in every case, then certainly in a good percentage of cases, for the astronauts, were any of this real, to have to pilot the LM away from the originally intended landing area? So they cut this thing loose from 60 miles above the moon and risk the astronauts' lives with the flimsiest of expectations, the expectation that this bird is going to land right where they planned for it to land when these ludicrous plans were made 240,000 miles away, when we had yet to lay eyes on the moon let alone navigate about it, when Armstrong had never taken a shot at actually flying anything in bona fide 1/6 G conditions? Some say well he practiced on the simulator a lot. So far in this analysis I see little evidence for the two characters played by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in this over budget production being able to use a simple sextant, let alone fly a lunar landing vehicle.
Had enough? I haven't, let's do two more. This one is from my now favorite Apollo history book, "Taking Science to the Moon" by Donald A. Beattie. Others I am sure are familiar with Beattie, perhaps better acquainted with him than me. Beattie was a geologist who responded with great enthusiasm to Kennedy's clarion call for dudes on the moon, dropping everything to become one of the Apollo project scientists and even making a respectable run at becoming an Apollo astronaut himself. This is from ebook location 2914.
"In the meantime we were monitoring the signal sent back by the passive seismic experiment and attempting to find the LRRR that the astronauts had left behind. This latter operation was not as easy as we expected, since the exact location of the landing site was not immediately known. Mike Collins had attempted unsuccessfully to locate the LM from orbit using the command module sextant. After analyzing the flight data and the returned photographs, we passed our best estimate to the LRRR PIs, and the LRRR was found on August 1, 1969 by the Lick Observatory in California."
There are a few important points to be made here; first, Beattie is an honest hard working scientist who gets totally duped into buying into this embarrassingly contrived off Broadway junk. Collins is going to find these guys with his 28 power optic from 60 miles up? Secondly, it is worth pointing out right here that contrary to Beattie's belief that he and his colleagues provided the LRRR researchers with information that was helpful in determining Trinity Base's coordinates, a determination made a week and a half after the feigned landing, the very man who targeted the moon with the Lick Observatory laser on the evening of 07/20/1969, Remington Stone, he is unequivocal in his informing us all that the Lick Observatory staff were notified of Tranquility Base's coordinates at the very time Armstrong and Aldrin were pretending to be on the moon. Lick Observatory was contacted with 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E at the very time NASA claimed Armstrong and Aldrin had just set down the LRRR. Now ain't that interesting. I shall give excellent documentation of this below, not to mention providing my readers with the details of a fascinating twist to the Lick Observatory story, a twist suggestive of tampering with the laser beam operator's 2007 essay in which he provided a most remarkable accounting of exactly what went on that evening. Stay tuned and read on. I know it is good now, but hold on to your seats, it gets even better. At any rate, as we'll see in fairly short order, the LRRR was in all likelihood planted well before the day of the feigned moon landing. The Lick people were given the coordinates, but would not be allowed to find the LRRR for reasons as discuss below in my section dedicated to the whole Lick Observatory experience. The simple point to keep in mind now, with a fraudulent moon landing, one would most certainly not want to disclose the LRRR's position with the Ruskies around. They may want to photograph the thing in all its unattended glory.
Andrew Chaikin is arguably the most respected writer of official narrative Apollo program literature. Chaikin's 1994 Penguin published book is a New York Times Notable Book. Gene Cernan wrote, "I've been there. Chaikin took me back." The book was reviewed by the LA Times and referred to as "the authoritative masterpiece". I read on page 220 of my Penguin published 2007 edition;
"But no one, not Armstrong and Aldrin nor anyone in mission control, knew just where Eagle was. The location would be a helpful, though not essential, piece of information for this computer to have during tomorrow's rendezvous. It fell to Collins to try to find the LM on the surface, using the command modules 28 power sextant."
Skipping forward a little, same book, same page;
"Each time he(referring to Collins) went around from the far side, mission control had a new set of coordinates for him to try, but on his map, one guess was as much as 10 grid-squares away from the last. It didn't take long to realize no one had a handle on the problem. His search continued fruitlessly for the rest of his 22 solo hours."
So we have Mission Control in Houston feeding Collins a new set of coordinates every time he circles around the moon. How remarkable. Why don't they simply give him the same coordinates they gave to Remington Stone and the people at Lick Observatory, 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E? Seems kind of an illogical and silly thing to do, have your command module pilot looking for a couple struggling actors from 60 some odd miles up with a 28 power optic and a narrow range lens and all that when the guys at Lick had the right numbers from the get go. Maybe it was a kind of command module pilot drill, though in my mind, it certainly does not inspire confidence.
I think by now most would admit, perhaps grudgingly in the case of some, but admit nevertheless, that our bird is lost, at least on one level of theater she is. Let's move on shall we, I believe I have a few suggestions for our aspiring heros. Perhaps if I can get them to take a few tips from me, they'll find their way off that sound stage.

Where to begin, begin to help our imaged lost souls, ever so stranded, yet they do not seem to mind! How remarkably curious! Let's help them anyway. Even if they are make believe, I simply must find a way to get those chaps off the moon. If they can't find a way to help themselves, well perhaps it is simply a matter of perspective. I am no great astronomer, though I do possess a telescope and enjoy playing with optics, and I very much like to try my hand with a map and compass from time to time, have ever since I was a boy. Perhaps this all seems ever so irrelevant, but shortly after I first began to look at Apollo, actually look at the pictures, pay attention to their character, listen to what the boys, the moonwalkers, had to say, well I realized right quick they were telling a fib in that little novel of theirs about their bird. It was easy for me to see how to find oneself on the moon, and I sure as shoot ain't Davey Crockett, let alone a full fledged smart guy like Neil. Just between you and me, I think his character, the guy in the Apollo book, the fictional Neil Armstrong, I think he was faking it, faking not being able to orient himself by way of celestial object sightings. One way or the other, I'll show you my solution, come along with me to the lunar surface on the evening of 07/20/1969. I used Starry Night Pro 6 software to visit the moon's surface, so your numbers may vary from mine, depending on your set up, but we'll understand one another no problem I am sure, the whole process is so fundamental, so straight forward.

In my Apollo 11 Post Launch Mission Operation Report, the Eagle's time of landing is said to have been 20:17 UTC on 07/20/1969. Let's use that time and our software to look at 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E that evening, or morning I should say since we're on the surface of the moon. Just because we punch in the coordinates to find ourselves in this particular place and time doesn't really mean we are cheating. Now that I am here courtesy of my fancy computer, well not nearly as fancy as the equipment Buzz and Neil had, but I'll go with it, paid $150 for this software. Can't remember how much that MIT navigational thing cost my mom and the other gals working their rumps off back then. So like a sailor, lost at sea, only temporarily mind you, I look out to my right and note the sun at azimuth 88 degrees and altitude 22 degrees. Remember the absolute values of the numbers are not important, it is the relationships between them. The earth is at azimuth 272 degrees and altitude 59 degrees.
Now landing on the moon like this, I would not necessarily know due north from due south, due west from due east. But it is worth pointing out that the LM navigational system has a mechanism/method for determining the direction of the gravity vector, I could actually appeal to that and given that I know I am on the sunlit side of the moon, I would be able to tell N-S, W-E. The computer can in the LM anyway because it knows down, down in the sense of down to the moon's very core. This is just a point worth making here about the computer's being able to determine the gravity vector and tell down like that, down towards the moon's center. It is important because in the Apollo 11 script, there are actually some lines in there where Aldrin is talking about using this function of his guidance system, the gravity vector to orient himself. I know its crazy because before they spent all that time pretending they were lost, Buzz and Neil did, but the whole thing is pretend anyway, so no big. They just need to pretend for some of the science types, maybe even a low level science type guy like me that knows way less than them. They have to pretend they are actually doing something navigational, finding themselves. Its a small sort of sub act for a minority of the audience. Maybe it's intended for a guy like me that screws around with a crummy little telescope, because if you do not go through this sub act stuff, pretend to sight stars in your pretend ship, the kid with the crummy telescope might cry out, "Hey Buzz, you're faking it, HOW COOL!" Back to my original point.
So on 07/20/1969 at UTC 20:17, I sight the sun with my navigational tools. What's more than likely, once I touched down and made my measurements, I'd use the sun's direction as azimuth zero and so would call the sun's position azimuth zero degrees and altitude 22 degrees, so the earth in relation to the sun is 184 degrees away by azimuth and 37 degrees higher in the lunar sky. So if I landed here with Buzz and Neil that night, I'd take these measurements because if one knows the date and time, the lunar coordinates can be so obtained. After all why have the guys back in Houston messing around with maps and trying to determine if the furniture that was in the room with Buzz and Neil, the furniture they were describing for them, looked anything like the rocks the US geological survey guys were studying? Of course, as expected, the US geological survey guys weren't going to find furniture on the moon maps, kind of silly trying, just like one could not expect Michael Collins to find the LM with his little optic 60 miles up there and the lost bird imagined to be blissfully stranded below. Anyway, so pretend we land, I take the measurements as described of the sun and earth and find the earth 184 radial degrees away and 37 degrees higher than the earth. So from that, I can tell I am at lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E on 07/20/1969 at UTC 20:17. It really was not that hard now was it? And if I want to sight stars, venus, whatever, I can reliably see as regards making measurements, my location becomes all the better defined, determined.
With my funky telescope and measuring tools I certainly could not measure the earth's and the sun's azimuths well enough to produce a latitude and longitude of precisely 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. But if I practiced a little with Buzz's equipment, WOW!, it would be a virtual show stopper.
A couple additional points merit mention here. First of all, the little activity that I just wet through here, taking azimuth and altitude measurements on the earth and sun in the process of orienting myself, finding my position on the moon, could be done in a limited sense with pictures, and as a matter of fact, I just did what I did from a picture that was on my computer. Now say Neil and Buzz are popping around out there on the out door sound stage and the photo taken features the earth and the sun, or the earth and very bright sun light bouncing off a particular part of the LM in such a way that one might be able to tell where this bright sun was in relation to the earth, very roughly, but that might be good enough. If you could measure/approximate the relative angles between the two, then you could tell which sound stage you were on, the 07/20/1969 one or another sound stage for another landing. The principals who orchestrated the Apollo scam were so afraid of this, thinking some crazy person like me might have the audacity to say this was from a different sound stage than the one claimed. So as goes the Apollo 11 mission, as regards the moon scape shots, the earth is in I believe 2 photos perhaps. I could be wrong there, but I believe it is 2. It sits high and over the shoulder of the LM in such a way one could never compare its position with anything, make measurements of relative angles.
This may sound insanely paranoidish, but the other thing worth pointing out anyway is that the earth is inappropriately dark within my software system when I view these sky fields for 07/20/1969. Anyone else notice that? Is someone trying to not so subtly discourage us from thinking along the lines I am right now? The earth should be way way way brighter than all the other objects in the sky except the sun. Yet, I can barely see it. Very odd.
So there you have it. I can make measurements, and with Buzz's purported equipment great measurements. They pretended they were lost because they do not want the laser retro-reflector to be found just yet. Not until they "get home" anyway. They do not want Tranquility Base to be eavesdropped upon. Because if it were, the Ruskies might find nothing more than an unmanned LRRR transport vehicle with a mirror stuck to the side of it. So Neil and Buzz are sort of lost twice here, once because the whole thing is fake to begin with so they ain't anywhere near the moon on 07/20/1969, and additionally, within the pretend world of the Apollo 11 mission, they are lost a second time in their pretending not to be able to use the equipment we the public, including the MIT personal who designed it, were lead to believe they had. MIT et. al did indeed design and build a perfectly good navigational and guidance device. Armstrong and Aldrin are simply not using it, not in any real sense anyway. They are not literally at lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E, for if they were, they would tell somebody they were. And we have only evidence for the most part that are claiming to be lost.
So, we have more than established the point that there is a general claim within the theme of Apollo 11's official story that the position of the Eagle is not known with any reasonable certainty up until the moment her top half lifts off and heads for Collins. Furthermore, this ignorance as regards position is a problem for those participating in Apollo's staged events of July 1969. It is a problem feigned for those aware of and directing the fraud, and a problem viewed as one of substance for the vast majority of participants including the US geological survey people who are of all things trying to find 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E on a lunar map based on what two guys are telling them, and these guys have never been within 240,000 miles of the moon in their lives, and probably now wish I would imagine that they had never been talked into pretending to have gone in the first place. I am sorry for all of us and I mean this with with no disrespect. I have never been fed anything more ridiculous in all my life.
Furthermore, we have established that the bogus lost bird theme foisted upon us by the principals of the fraud is actually quite implausible as it is nothing more than a matter of sighting celestial objects, start with the sun and the earth and given the date and precise time, voila'!!!!!, one knows where he or she is. As more celestial objects are sighted, one's confidence in the position so determined may improve depending on the circumstances and equipment. In the case of Eagle, the navigational system's ability to detect the gravity vector would afford the additional option of using this vector as a reference as well, and as we shall see, Aldrin is alleged to have done just that. We'll also see straight away, that the characters in our space play, pretending to be lost as regards the impression they would like to provide for the most of us, are very much pretending like they know where they are, and know quite precisely, with regard to the impression they would like to provide another group of Apollo program participants. Let's move on and take a look at this interesting feature of the Apollo 11 charade.

STARS OF KRYPTONITE PART TWO
APOLLO'S SOLUTION, THE LOST BIRD OF MOON BASE 00 41 15 23 26 00

Landing on the surface of a strange and remarkable planet, one would imagine that astronauts so visiting such a new place, in the case under consideration, the moon on 07/20/1969, would first and foremost consider the paramount importance of determining their position and implement a routine and standard procedure in order to "find themselves", determine within the precision afforded by their instruments, where it is that they were. Yet in reviewing materials such as those emphasized above, including materials provided to us by NASA itself, we are on one level led to believe this was never done. It would seem according to the materials referenced, unless a pair of astronauts flying a LM landed right smack dab on the planned coordinates, it would be a veritable Italian fire drill as regards making an effort in determining the ship's location.
But alas, look again my friends. Perhaps the astronauts' script has provided them with an addition theme, one in which they are going through all the machinations necessary to determine just where on the lunar surface that bird has perched. This here is from the Technical Crew Debriefing, 31 July 1969. The Lunar Surface 10.0, second entry, Aldrin speaks and states;
"After touchdown, we got a go for T-1 and then we proceeded to enter P68 and record the latitude and longitude and altitude. We then proceeded out of that and reset the stop button and entered P12 for T-2. "
Entering P68 is what one would expect astronauts to do. The technical people in Houston and elsewhere that understand the navigational system see this as routine, as it should be. Consulting the Apollo Guidance, Navigation and Control Manual from the Stark Draper laboratory, we find the MIT staff indicating the following in the relevant section on the LM landing programs featured for their device. My copy of the MIT manual has this on page 9, a quote;
"Once safely on the ground, the crew calls the landing confirmation program (P68). The object of this program is to determine the landing guidance, set the DAP functions, and initialize the LGC for lunar surface operations. THE SAME PROGRAM DISPLAYS THE COMPUTED POSITION FOR THE LANDING SITE. Specifically, noun 43 displays in R ll the latitude, R2 the longitude and R3 the altitude of the LM above the lunar radius."
Not a bad program at all I would say, would certainly seem to get the job done. So let's take a look at the Apollo 11 Transcript and see if the script there is consistent with Aldrin's account in the Technical Crew Debriefing Report. At 04 07 22 30(time) into the script, Armstrong indicates Aldrin is going to try and sight some stars. At 04 07 47 29 Aldrin speaks;
LMP "Okay. That last star was Navi, and it wasn't too well distinguishable. I can see where that
error could come in. I think for the gravity alignment with one star, Rigel will be quite good."
So here, the script features the astronaut Aldrin character indicating that he is doing just as I did above with the Earth and sun. He is using stars and their relative angles, and indicating he can employ the navigational system's gravity align feature to help determine the ship's position on the surface of the moon.
One would expect the equipment the MIT people designed to have been very good so my numbers wouldn't match exactly with what Aldrin or any astronaut would get had somebody really been there, but my software is good enough to make the appropriate point. On 07/20/1969 at UTC 20:17, had astronaut Aldrin really been there on the moon, he would have found Navi just to the east of due north at azimuth 2 degrees and altitude 41 degrees. Rigel is to the southeast at azimuth 132 degrees and altitude 41 degrees. The Apollo 11 script features the Aldrin character here doing just what I did in my example above. I sighted the earth and the sun, he was sighting stars, but the goal is the same. I used the earth/sun example to emphasize why the con artists that fabricated the Apollo moonscape photos do not want to even imply sun-earth-moon relationships, let alone give one the opportunity to take measurements from photos and show these relationships and thereby demonstrate the photos could not possibly be consistent with their having been taken from lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E.
So back to basics, if one knows the date, including the time, and one has star/sun/earth/gravity vector measurements, then one will be able to come up with the Trinity Base coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. And if one reads the MIT manual for their beautiful navigational system, one finds that naturally this remarkable device was designed so as to help real astronauts quickly and easily take the appropriate measurements to come up with lunar landing coordinates. In the case of the imaginary landing of 07/20/1969, the appropriate measurements were never made of course. We know they were never made because the numbers 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E were never generated by the P68 landing program. And since the numbers were never generated, we know the Eagle never landed. Putting aside details about the pretended landing for now and going back to a discussion of the MIT navigational system per se, the system in addition to utilizing star sightings, star positions as raw data for orientation, also was able to employ its sense of gravity. For the MIT navigational system, determining the direction of gravity's pull is helpful to it in determining a spaceship's coordinates, just like spotting a star is helpful. Determining gravity's diirection gives the computer a sense as to where it sits, whether it may be sitting in the MIT lab where it was designed , or whether it was actually on the moon, where it most decidedly was not on 07/20/1969 at UTC 20:17.
In the Aldrin quote above from the Technical Crew Debriefing, it is worthwhile noting that after concluding with P68, a program that once supplied with the appropriate raw data would give the latitude, longitude and altitude on the occasion of a legitimate landing, the script says the astronauts go to P12 which is the ascent guidance program. So the intention is to have those that understand the technical aspects of the guidance system thinking along the lines that the astronauts are doing what would be expected of them. People in Houston on the evening of 07/20/1969 would be anticipating references to Aldrin's running P68 if they were working in a guidance system management capacity. If this wasn't scripted, these guidance specialists would say, "Hey wait a minute, you guys are trying to pull a fast one!" For almost all the rest of us, these crazy numbers, these crazy codes, P68 and what not, they would be just so much gibberish. However, for an important elite minority of the more sophisticated Houston onlookers, the guidance people, this is important stuff, so the script features this pretense of a time, shortly after landing when Aldrin is said to run the landing confirmation program P68, in which the latitude and longitude and altitude of the LM was pretended by Aldrin to have been determined for this pretended landing. Then in the Apollo 11 script, right after Aldrin claims to have run P68, he then goes on and refers to P12, the powered ascent program. This program would be dependent on the landing coordinate data. One must run P68 to know where one is and then feed those so derived landing coordinates into P12 as a preparation for one's powered ascent from the point of those very coordinates entered. If the Eagle's landing had been real, 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E would have been generated by a bona fide running of P68. Then P12, the ascent program, would utilize the Tranquility Base coordinates in its function of finding Michael Collins above, as need be. We know Apollo is not real with certainty because 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E, the coordinates of the Tranquility Base LRRR, were never generated by a genuine moon based running of the P68 program. The reader is invited to scrutinize all of the NASA documents pertaining to Apollo 11 in his or her confirming of this simple and very remarkable and all the more incriminating fact.
By the way, the script features the bit about the P12 program as were real astronauts on the moon, the thinking would be they may need to blast off urgently. So real astronauts that landed, as a precaution, would be expected to go through the drill of preparing to blast off. Real astronauts would be expected to do everything but hit the GO button that would light the ascent rocket. In the case of real astronauts, there might genuinely be a need to leave the moon urgently. So Aldrin is acting here when he is referencing P68 and P12 because he knows the guidance people in Houston, who very much believe in Apollo's truth, are expecting him to determine the Eagle's position,generate landing coordinates, program 68, and in addition, run through an urgent take off drill, program 12. It is simply theater to provide the guidance staff with the behavior they anticipated. Again to emphasize, we know this action on Aldrin's part is not real, as NASA's own Apollo 11 documents demonstrate the P68 program which Aldrin pretended to run, never generated the Tranquility Base landing coordinates.
So we see on the one hand, within the Apollo 11 script, we have this theme of the "Lost Bird". Eagle's position is indeterminate. And at the same time, for a select minority of elite technicians, there is this implication within the technical language of Aldrin's acting, within the technical language of the patently bogus Apollo 11 script, that the right things are being done. It is a relatively intelligent ruse as for the most part, the only people that would understand the program code gibberish and so forth straight away, would be the very people expecting real astronauts to run through a P68 program, sight stars, find themselves and run a P12 powered ascent drill.
Before moving on, it is worthwhile noting a few things. One is that the coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E are never mentioned directly in the Apollo 11 voice transcript ever, anywhere, period. This of course is exactly what one would NOT expect were Apollo 11 real. Soon as the guys touch down, assuming everything was worked out with the Ruskies, Aldrin should be heard to say, were any of this true, "We are down and after running P68 we find per our guidance computer lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. We are 8,600 feet below the mean radius of the moon. Copy that Houston? Copy that Michael Collins." Additionally, were this a real moon landing, there would in my mind be more to be gained than lost by Russian interference. Take my picture Ivan! Up yours you Reds!!
One of the things the ruse perpetrators counted on was that most would almost certainly get lost were they to follow the technical chatter. Most of us, myself included, would need the manuals, and have to sit down and go through the transcript line by line and in a sense recreate the events for ourselves. Of course, reviewing the transcripts with the assistance of the technical manuals changes everything. Once one does that, Apollo as script, as fraud, becomes the reality and Apollo as historical event becomes the fantasy. I am sure most that have read this far are beginning to see the truth in this. It is all quite frankly fraudulent. And I for one am as disappointed as anyone. I am not happy to upset NASA's apple cart. But on the other hand, what are we to do? Pretend this is all OK? Most certainly not.
The final point to make before moving on to my next section has to do with how best to debate the reality of the Apollo fraud. There is no need to argue over photos, rocks, telemetry and so forth. If a person lies, if a person commits to one utterly untenable position such as "We had no idea where we were on the moon", and then says something else altogether such as, "Ok engineers and navigational people back home, we are running P68 so we are orienting ourselves" or as we shall see just in a moment below, "OK Lick Observatory staff, fire that laser, Neil Armstrong is out on the lunar surface and even though nobody knows where he is via the usual technical means , we are divining the coordinates as 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E". Apollo must be fraudulent. The script can not be read as nothing other than fiction because nobody in their right mind can buy into a story that on the one hand features a theme in which the astronauts cannot find themselves despite their abilities and equipment and on the other hand, at the very same time as Tranquility Base's location is being announced as not at all determined with regards to specific lunar coordinates, the script features this contradictory theme in which according to NASA's very own verbatim document, its voice transcript, the lunar coordinates were ascertained by the astronauts and never passed along to anyone. Aldrin knows his lunar coordinates by running P68, yet the US geological survey guys are frantically trying to find Tranquility Base using as their best clues descriptions of the local lunar surface provided by Armstrong and Aldrin? This simply cannot be true. There really is not much need to debate this further in my mind, though I will cover the Lick Observatory issue for the sake of completeness. The point to be emphasized here is that for the majority of time this debate has been going on, people have argued over the material "evidence" for or against Apollo's authenticity. Apollo's mystery can only be revealed through the examination of the claims of the principals. What were the facts of Apollo as stated by Armstrong and Aldrin on the surface of the moon? They claim they did not know where they were, in the relevant sense of not knowing their alleged lunar coordinates at Tranquility Base on the evening of 07/20/1969. US geological survey people were frantically trying to "find them" on the moon. How can that be possible if they really ran a P68 program? How can that be possible if Lick observatory was told more or less immediately upon Armstrong's alleged landing and placement of the LRRR that the coordinates at Tranquility Base were 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E? How can that be possible if Flight International Magazine featured an article by Agnus Macpherson from its 21 August 1969 publication featuring the following rather startling lines;
"The last reading given on the Eagle DSKY (display keyboard) before touching down was Lat 0 41 15 N, Long 23 26 00 E. This compared with the centre of the landing ellipse of Site 2 (12.2 miles long by 3.1 miles wide)."
Apologists for the official narrative as conventionally presented argue that those of us who argue for Apollo's fraudulence are unreasonable because "what about the moon rocks?" I would argue, "what about them?" Neil Armstrong would have us believe he did not know from where they were collected. He had no idea where he was, no way to figure it out. Just before he touched down his DSKY was blinking 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 right in his face and he did not know!? They ran the P68 program to determine their position and as detailed in the account given by Aldrin, stars and the gravity vector were taken into account to determine their position and they still did not know!? Couldn't they pick up the space phone and say , "Hey Charlie Duke, we are at 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E"!? Apparently not. Has anything more flat out bogus ever found its way into our culture's mythology!? To that I would answer with a resounding NO!

In 2007, Remington Stone authored a brief and rather enlightening first person account of the events that transpired at the world renown Lick Observatory on that mythical evening, 07/20/1969. Remington Stone was the hand-picked technician tapped to operate Lick's telescope on the night of 07/20/1969. As most interested in Apollo know, journalists had gathered at Lick in anticipation of what would be rather direct confirmation of the first human presence upon the moon. The Lick staff would be fed the precise coordinates of the landing site. Remington Stone would aim the telescope, the laser would be fired, and some of the ruby red light so sent would bounce back to the group at Lick. It would be a moment of beauty and supreme drama.
Keep in mind, as we have learned above, most are under the impression that the Eagle is lost, lost in the sense that precise coordinates such as those that would be needed to target the LRRR were not available. I'll quote the Stone article here. The curious may find it at the University of California Observatories web site. The article was written in 2007. Stone states;
"As the laser beam diameter at the moon was only 2 miles, we had to be able to point fairly accurately. The lunar module, under manual control in order to avoid some rough terrain, had not been landed exactly where planned. The astronauts soon determined their precise location on the moon and radioed that information to Mission Control in Houston. Later that evening Joe Wampler spoke with Mission Control to obtain the coordinates for the actual landing site. I was standing next to him as he stood next to the night assistant's desk in the 3m control room, upon which he had a large scale moon map spread out. I heard Joe repeat back the coordinates three times in order to be absolutely certain he had them correct. Then, with the spot carefully marked on the map, we pointed the the telescope to to that exact lunar location and started firing a laser at it, scientific history in the making!"
Joe Wampler by the way was one of the scientists involved with the project at Lick. There was a problem though and the laser report from the moon was never detected that evening. I'll quote again because I find this rather remarkable. You'll see what I mean.
"This problem was identified the next day when someone called Houston again to verify the lunar coordinates which turned
out to be 00 41 15 N, 23 26 00 W. Despite the fact that Joe had repeated every number three separate times, they were still wrong. the person he had spoken with in Houston that first night had a deep Texas accent, and although the last two digits in the N-S coordinate group were 15, through the thick Texan drawl Joe had consistently heard "fifty" rather than "fifteen", so we had not been pointed at the correct spot on the first night."
More interesting than the bit Remington Stone tells us about mixing up "15" and "50" is that in the article from the University of California Observatories web site, the east-west coordinate is wrong. Tranquility Base is 23 26 00 E not 23 26 00 W. Also, the font is different from the body of the rest of the text, the font for the coordinates. Take an interesting look for yourselves brothers and sisters. It would appear that Mr. Stone's coordinates have been tampered with. Just speculation, but more likely than not true. We can tell from the context of the article that they were shooting in the right place for the most part from the get go. They were not 46 degrees off east-west wise. It is possible that Stone wrote west when he meant east, but seems unlikely as the coordinates as presented in the article are in this different font. The substance of my argument does not depend on this point at all. I just bring it up as it is so suspicious. The article appears to have been altered by someone other than Stone after it was written.
Ultimately, they got things right. Firing at lunar coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E bore fruit on 08/01/1969. According to Stone, it took the scientists a week and a half to get the photons to bounce back because the JPL programmers did not use the observatory's correct coordinates for the location of the laser report's anticipated return or "catch" site, but rather the Lick Observatory main building parking lot. An article in the magazine Science from 30 January 1970 confirms Remington Stone's explanation as regards the fact that it took the guys at Lick so long to get confirmation of the LRRR's presence by virtue of returned photons because JPL had the coordinates wrong for the Lick Observatory's scope. That explanation seems a little far fetched, but the points that need to be emphasized here begin with Stone's account of Houston immediately calling them with 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. They knew the moment Armstrong was said to have placed the LRRR on the moon that it was at 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. Well they got the 15 and 50 mixed up, but the coordinates were known and delivered. How very interesting that in NASA's own Post Launch Mission Operation Report of 07/24/1969 the NASA scientists claim that the reason the LRRR experiment did not work was because it was optimally designed for lunar night operations and 07/20/1969 was a time on the moon that featured plenty of light. The problem with that particular lie of NASA's is that one can readily confirm using software as previously mentioned that 08/01/1969 was a time on the moon every bit as bright as 07/20/1969. Additionally, per honest Joe, scientist Donald A. Beattie in his well written book, "Taking Science to the Moon" from location 2914 of the ebook;
"the exact location of the landing site was not immediately known. Mike Collins had attempted unsuccessfully to locate the LM from orbit using the command module sextant. After analyzing the flight data and the returned photographs, we passed our best estimates to the LRRR PIs, and the LRRR was found on August 1, 1969, by the Lick Observatory in California."
What is particularly interesting about Beattie's situation was/is, here is a guy intimately involved with the development of the experiments allegedly done by the Apollo astronauts, the science of Apollo, and as of the writing of his book in 2001, he has no idea whatsoever as to how badly he was gamed. He and his colleagues are analyzing photos and flight data, and days before Houston had called called the Lick observatory, on the very night of 07/20/1969, right after the script featured the part where Armstrong and Aldrin allegedly set the LRRR down, and Beattie has no idea whatsoever that Lick already knows 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. Beattie is under the impression his team helped find the LRRR by way of their assessment. People ask how could a fraud possibly have been pulled off with all these smart people indirectly involved, unaware of the deceit, but participating very much in the reality of designing things, building things, analyzing things. Well, there you have it. Take a look at Beattie. Read his book. Exhibit A. Hopefully he will one day be made aware of this jive and write about it for us.
I suggested above, more or less for the sake of starting off with a well defined concrete reasonable alternative scenario for Apollo that the LRRR was planted well before 07/20/1969 and secretly confirmed to be working prior to the alleged departure of Apollo 11 for the moon on 07/16/1969. I suggested that under the circumstances, the reason why Lick was not allowed to find the LRRR on 07/20/1969 was because Luna 15 may have been able to photograph a lunar landscape without astronauts at the coordinates 00 41 15 N and 23 26 00 E. However, this need not necessarily be the case. I leave it to the imaginations of those interested in determining the real facts of Apollo to offer other possible explanations. There are indeed many.

Yet Apollo astronauts deny stars, of all the people. The depth of this metaphor is so profound one can only shudder and then cry.
Apollo is mysterious indeed. Rich, diabolically confusing, maddening, heart breaking especially for the astronauts and most especially for Neil Armstrong who I personally think is the most interesting man in the world.
Perhaps not much at this point can be said in any definite sense as regards Apollo except for one thing and one thing only. As difficult as it is for us all to accept and recover from, the Apollo astronauts never landed on the moon. And when it comes to pass that this is the accepted rightful truth for us all, if the astronauts still alive choose to be left alone, this should be respected. I for one believe they have suffered quite enough already.
