There are a few things I would like to clarify with this thread.
After following this forum and the BAUT forums for some time I have come to the conclusion that the moon hoax theory is becoming a dead discussion.
You never hear about the hoax theories on the television, in the papers or elsewhere on the internet. Its becoming confined to youtube now and is therefore a dying topic.
Jarrah has made a blatantly false claim in some recent videos. He argues (like in the Transformers 3 and Apollo 18 video) that a growing number of people are doubting the Apollo moon missions. This is absolutely false. In reality there is a growing number of people realising the truth that the moon missions were real.
So unless Jarrah can substantiate this claim, I wish for all HB on this thread to understand it is not true. Just because Jarrah's videos get say 600 views in a day this doesn't prove people are doubting the moon landings, it could mean;
a) people enjoy Jarrah's videos for their cinematic value
b) people view Jarrah's videos to post comments debunking claims made in the video
c) Jarrah's videos are recommended to people who watch normal moon videos. The viewers look at the videos and turn back when they see they are hoax videos lacking any original hoax evidence
Either way the debate is never heard of outside youtube. No one in the world really cares so there is no point for Jarrah to claim a growing number are doubting Apollo when this claim cannot be substantiated.
If Jarrah's videos are doing anything for the hoax debate, they are killing it off even more. Jarrah may have previously tried to support the hoax theory but now he's shooting himself in the foot. Think about it;
Pro-longing extended video series
a) MoonRocks Revisited is 8.5 hours long. Very few people will sit through a documentary this long on one aspect of a dying conspiracy theory
b) RadioActive Anomoly was long enough as it was but then Jarrah produced a second one. These videos provide no scientific evidence to support the radiation claims. They rather cherry pic on quotes from Plait and so fort. We all know what Dr James Van Allen said about the FOX documentary and the radiation claim, so that should be the end of it
Fly Jarrah White To The Moon
a) Ok so I accept Jarrah's not trying to scam us but really think about it. He will never and I mean never raise $300 million. $200 million was difficult enough but less and less people are contributing with the passing of time and this will make it on the verge of impossibility to raise the money for two tickets
b) Jarrah would need a very successful business to actually raise the money himself. He states he has a "steady source of income" that implies his wages are average and therefore will not be enough to raise the rest of the money needed for his fund
c) 99% of the world has no clue who Jarrah is and this will not change if less and less people are interested in the hoax debate, which is becoming the case
d) Its been more than a year and less than 0.001% have contributed to the fund for the reasons I have listed
Off-topic debates
a) Jarrah needs to choose between moon hoax videos and anti-cyberbullying videos. Viewers are getting increasingly bored because half of Jarrah's videos are based on his so called "ongoing wars"
b) Jarrah needs to stop fighting these manufactured debates against the pro-NASA side. No one really cares that Plait said Bill Kaysing claimed any kind of space travel was impossible. This was a figure of speech on Plait's part and shouldn't be taken seriously. If its so important then why doesn't Jarrah address Kaysing's unsubstantiated claims like the one that Dutch papers printed stories saying the moon landing was faked? If you can't substantiate this claim then please drop all your arguments about Plait being "a hard man to reach"
Videos are more based on Jarrah's personal complaints than on valid pro-hoax arguments
a) No offence to Jarrah but over the past year his videos have been more of a winefest than argumentive. The Transformers 3 review is a good example. Jarrah didn't review this film, he nitpicked at small details and made it out like it was created to insult him. Its a fictional movie why should Jarrah complain about the lack of facts in the film, thats not what entertainment is about
Final Word on Jay debate
Jarrah if you are reading this thread view your post from the Yahoo forums and ask yourself is this the way you want to be portrayed to the public.
At first I doubted this was you but the regulars here helped me to see the light. I apologised for claiming it was a fabricated link and now you must do the same for your abusive treatment of Jay.
I simply couldn't believe you would be so horrid by insulting a qualified and well-respected engineer, but this link made me lose all my respect for you Jarrah White.
Please apologize to Jay for previously calling him and other Apollo believers "pro-NASA morons".
tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/apollo-hoax/message/224
Also you dodged Jay's question regarding your academic qualifications and understanding of physics and science. May I ask how can you complain about others dodging your questions when you do exactly the same?
Bottom line the moon landings between 1969 and 1972 were 100% authentic and even if they weren't no one would really care in the present day had NASA successfully purpotrated a hoax. So Jarrah here is my final word on the subject. If you wish to continue making your MoonFaker series by all means do so, but this is the reality and your choice to accept it or not. The reality is that the moon hoax debate is dying and your videos at the moment aren't making much of a difference to that.
