The guy lives in Australia, in New South Wales, and you'd be lucky to find 50 people throughout the country - who are not diehard HBs - who have ever heard of him.

Yeah, but she HAS to. I bet his sister doesn't share that opinion.

There are roughly 300 Million people in the US alone. If every single last one of them gave me one dollar by tomorrow, I would have enough to buy three tickets." - Jarrah White. My bets are that this whole thing is just a joke. But I could be wrong. A guy can dream, right? I'd love to go to the moon too. You said you know Jarrah personally, I assume you can answer that question better than anyone else here on this forum. I think someone said before there is no way this "Send Jarrah White To The Moon" project will be able to raise 0.001 of 1% and I think that was the best way of putting it. Jarrah is a complete stranger outside youtube, heck even Kaysing, Rene and the most prominent HB's were only known to a minority. At least he has admitted its unlikely he will raise the money. Maybe Jarrah doesn't realise exactly how unlikely it is but he will soon find out. I presume if he doesn't raise the money within his lifetime (which he most certainly won't IMO) it will all be donated to charity? At least thats where he says it will go if all fails.

I presume if he doesn't raise the money within his lifetime (which he most certainly won't IMO) it will all be donated to charity? At least thats where he says it will go if all fails. A friend of mine, Brant, or, Astrobrant2, on youtube did some basic math calculations. He discovered that at the current rate the "Fly Jarrah to the Moon Project" was going, it would take Jarrah roughly 500,022 years to raise the money he needs. This calculation included the 50 dollars that Jarrah donated to himself. In terms of whether I know him personally, sort of, and no. I have never met him face to face, but I may some day. We have discussed performing recreations of the Apollo EVAs to aid filmmakers in accurate moon walk scenes, but my budget currently doesn't support a flight to Australia. I do, however, talk to him on a frequent basis, and despite our separate views on Apollo, I would consider him a friend of mine. My friends are people I would willingly defend or protect and get along with on a daily basis. I have never had any problems with any of Jarrah's views or opinions on Apollo, that's not to say I believe he's correct. I feel like it's not within my rights to say whether the fundraiser is likely or not, but from a truthfully realistic standpoint, I highly doubt JW will be able to raise the required *300,000,000* dollars without some other form of income. Donations on youtube simply won't cut it. If, somehow, his flight did occur, I would give him all my support and hope for his safe return to Earth. I honestly just don't see Jarrah White's C.O.D. as being "Cis Lunar Radiation Exposure." Jarrah's current plan, if the flight never gets off of the ground, is to donate all of the money he has collected to a charity of some sort. I'm not entirely sure what the cause will be, but I assume it will be something space related.

Why assume that? He lies about all kinds of other things; maybe he's already spending it in the full knowledge that he's never going to make that kind of money.

The loot issue to get him to the moon is disingenuous at the very least. The proposed scheme that I think he mentions is a there and back, no complete orbits. That means no landing. That means he does not get close up.
He could just set up a charity account and say it is for that and just get on with collections. Saying it is for the moon is I think himself trying to give the "cause" some legitimacy.
I would wonder if Australian law would have an interest in this.

The moon landings were NOT faked!!!!Get over yourselves you HB's. Interesting. Is this addressed to Jarrah White & Co., or to Apollohoax.net? Edit to add: Aaron, it's good punctuation to use no more than one exclamation or interrogation point at a time, and to leave at least one space after each full stop. Fred
