The Italian Job - which version?
I meant the original, and the same goes for The Ladykillers.

But West Side Story doesn't have Audrey Hepburn. (Though it does have Marni Nixon, as what musical movie of the era did not?) No, no Audrey Hepburn. But it does have some great dance numbers, which My Fair Lady doesn't.

more movies that come to my mind:
King Kong The Mummy (1 more than part 2)
Harry Potter (when he was learning magic in a school)
National Treasure (about hunting freemasonic treasures)
there is a movie about a pink pig who speaks to animals ..forgot its name so if you can help me so I can bring it as CD
there is also "Lord of Flies" (?) .. we watched it at school in the sociology course to see how people tend to form groups and stuff.. it is about children who get lost on an Island and form groups against each other..

What a fabulous thread! I can't believe someone chose 'Wrath of Khan' ! Lol! Surely 'The Undiscovered Country' was better...?
My ten are not 'The Best' films in the same way that comfort food is not the best nutrition, they are the films I watch most often.
The Adventures Of Robin Hood Sons Of The Desert Withnail and I Les Valseuses Star Wars (4, 5 and 6 only) Spartacus (A really, really fine movie) The Godfather (1and 2 only) Annie Hall The Wicker Man The Matrix
(and I'm going to cheat and slip in The Terminator Trilogy) (and Excalibur) Yay! Go team Couch Potato!

Babe?
My favourite Star Trek movie is IV: The Voyage Home. How often do you get to hear Spock say dumbass? I think it is so funny when Scotty speaks into the mouse, "Computer?"

How could I forget: the Titanic It is quite hard. I have been trying to since I saw it, darn you Cameron, if it wasn't for Aliens and T2 you would be cursed to Hollywood hell.

Strange how people seem to not like Titanic precisely because other people like it so much. I thought it was a pretty good film myself. Of course, I only saw it the one time.

I assure you, Jason, that isn't why I've no interest in Titanic.

I can think of a number of reasons, not the least of which is De Caprio's lack of acting ability.

Actually, he can act. He just doesn't always do so. Which is, in my opinion, worse. (To see him act, check out What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I had a friend whose mom thought for years that he was actually retarded.)
