Things seem comparatively silent in the wider world about the Conspiracy Theory of the Apollohoax. Has the fad faded?

Things seem comparatively silent in the wider world about the Conspiracy Theory of the Apollohoax. Has the fad faded? Just my impression, but it seems like 9/11 conspiracies have captured a pretty large market share. The Apollohoax people haven't kept up with changing consumer taste...

I think that Moon Man is getting to the bottom of the barrel when you talk HB's. I'm shockingly surprised that he knows that there was more than one landing.

Whoosh mon. I'm afraid to comment on that thread for fear I'd get myself banned (either through blatant ad hominum's or outright profanity).
Up until page fourteen or so I harbored thoughts that this might be a debate-happy webizen who was used to rolling into forums and using low debating tactics to "win." Unfortunately that doesn't get you far in a technical field, especially one dominated by physics.
Pity. I look forward to finding gems of HB nonsense to carry with me. All Moon Man has come up with is regurgitations of every bad claim that is easily accessible on the web. Sigh. At least he could have gone somewhere with his Concorde claim. Oh, wait. There was his question of what a G could possibly have to do with de-accelleration....

...and that temperatures apparently go instantly from -250 to +250 on transition from shade to sunlight, and vice versa... I suspect that my queries as to his claims about Apollo photography and my favorite NasaScam quote will be ignored, if only due to drownage in the other responses.

Why does the name “Count Duku” come to mind when I read Moon Man’s posts?

Don't miss the last two lines in this post from Tofu: www.bautforum.com/showpost.php?p=599806&postcount=719That has to be the best reply I've seen there. Brilliant! <Edited to add:> On second thoughts, such a good line should not be left to languish at BAUT alone, so here it is: Moon Man: Have you seen the clip where the astronaut falls over on the moon and he's laughing about it..?
Tofu: Yeah, that proves it was fake. If the apollo program was real, that astronaut would have broken down and started crying, and the other guy would have had to give him a big hug and then the two of them would have gone back to the LEM and had chocolate cake. That is Mickey-taking at its very best! Tofu can be forgiven for making the common mistake of saying LEM (Lunar Excursion Module) instead of using the abbreviation that was later adopted, LM. The pronunciation is the same, but someone decided to shorten the full term because the LM didn't do any excurdging.
