Wow. What a chickensh*t. He lacked all intellectual honesty but this is simply despicable.

I am more qualified because I am more thoughtful. I am not easily fooled. On the contrary. You've fallen for some of the dumbest ideas ever put forth by man.

Conspiracy theorists balk at the single bullet theory but when asked what caused all the wounds to Connally they have to admit it was done by one bullet (or allow an absurd sequence of fire where Connally is hit by 3 separate bullets all fired within the span of half a second, including one fired by a sniper in a helicopter hovering above Dealey Plaza who fired a very low velocity bullet into his thigh). Is it that much more of a stretch to add a neck to the path?

Also, this may show my lack of knowledge of the subject, but if a shot didn't go through JFK into Connolly, how did Connolly get shot? JFK shot him.

I was really happy to see the Mythbusters examine (and re-examine) the "blown away" myth. I regularly see conspiracists (including Apollo hoaxers) unload truckloads of vitriol on them. So they must be doing something right. Some years ago the Mythbusters hit two cars head-on at 50 mph and Jamie said that was equivalent to one hitting a brick wall at 100 mph. I knew that wasn't true and apparently so did many other fans, so the Mythbusters revisited it. (That it involved crashing cars probably made the decision easy.) Sure enough, Jamie was shown to be wrong; two equal cars hitting head on at 50 mph suffered equal damage as one hitting a brick wall at 50 mph, not 100. Then Jamie got on camera and said "Yeah, I was wrong. But I'm okay with that, because that's how you learn." How many TV personalities (or hoaxers) say that? Not many. Before that they tested the myth that two interlaced phone books cannot be pulled apart. At the beginning of the show they had two teams on either side trying to pull the books apart. Nooo! Tie off one end to something sturdy and get both teams pulling on the same rope. It finally took two tanks to pull it apart so I doubt they will revisit it. But it would be nice to see them address the physics.

Given how this new member thinks Fattydash is a genius it would not surprise me if she goes for the dumbest of all the hoax claims and says there should be stars in all the photos.

I disagree with the new title of the thread. While it is certainly accurate, we should work to maintain as welcoming of an environment for hoax believers as possible. The of altering a thread title to ridicule a banned member is not welcoming. Agreed. It should be renamed, "How wrong can one man be?"

I recommend trying Stellarium. You can enter your location and a date and time of an Apollo landing then search for the Moon. If it is below the horizon you can turn off the ground and if it was during daytime you can turn off the atmosphere. You can also select an Apollo landing site as your viewing location. Enter the date and time and you'll see the heavens as the astronauts did.

When he clearly could not understand the difference between Force, Pressure, and Velocity, well no amount of explaination is going to help him. Not understanding the simplest scientific concepts was bad enough (how frakking hard is it to understand f=ma???) but when numerous people tried to teach him and guide him to the proper science he completely ignored it. Good riddance. I blame the Internet. Some people are so stupid they think if they are smart enough to operate a browser then they are smart enough to understand all the information displayed on that browser.

then lets pretend that it takes a gas moving at 10 mph to start the particles moving, now make FORCE equal to a 10 mph. Bwahahahaha. No, dude, no. Learn the units. Learn what force is.

divide pressure by a specific area, gives you pressure per area. No, that gives you a unit of measure no scientist or engineer in the world works with. Divide force by area and you get pressure. Good lord, man. Learn something!

a vacuum is man made phenomenon, we can provide a force to move matter, if it is done to an enclosed area, the area may be voided of matter, this void can not suck anything into it to stabilize with its surroundings, it can not provide any exchange of energy to move anything. surrounding matter will move into the void because of internal pressure to expand. there is no vacuum in space. it is just void of matter. and if space scientists use vacuum to mean space they would be wrong. Stundied!

because of the impingement of the 1191 F supersonic exhaust by the surface of the moon, the truer value for the pounds of pressure is significantly higher then stated. Bwahahahaha! Dude, get an education.
