Ginnie, your first link doesn't work right, try this one instead: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZhjRSTDYX4It is definitely I suspect it is dust on the camera, like you said. The spots are in the same position as the camera pans, if they were stars they wouldn't follow the camera movement.

I can see you're back again, altair4. You have started three threads that have garnered a number of responses. Do you have any intention of addressing those responses?

That's a very good suggestion Jay. I hate it when I've done work on a post and it seemingly goes totally unnoticed by the author of the thread....except for when I make stupid comments in General Discussion and Beyond Belief of course. ;D

Dust on the lense wouldn't show as distinct points. It would be completely out of focus. Could the white dots be flaws in the video tube? If the image was recorded by pointing another camera at the video monitor, could the dots be room lights reflected on the monitor?

More likely. Or a flaw in any of the media used as a frame buffer.
If the image was recorded by pointing another camera at the video monitor...
You mean as in a kinescope? You have to be sure not to confuse that with the ad hoc slow-scan stuff used for Apollo 11.

The spots don't change at all when the camera zooms in, so it is probably not anything on the lens. I would guess that they are multiple failures in the pickup tube.

I was wonderin' about dust on the lens after I posted it. My mind was telling me it should be out of focus, but I didn't have any better explanation. Thanks for clearing that up a bit.

Dust on the lens could be in focus under daylight conditions -- though I don't know if that particular camera was sensitive enough for that to be possible. The spots stay in the same place all the time, so it isn't dust on the lens in this case. The spots are also not evidence of anything unusual.

Hi everyone, this is a fantastic website...what is my reponse... its great 2 C everyone is enthusiastic and there are people with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!!Personally I have no doubt we walked on the moon, yesterday I was reading the Apollo 11 mission reports(awesome!!) and believe every word Aldrin has 2 say in the 1st few pages of volume 1,a friend of mine worked for Kodak in NZ and delivered photos to the US embassy of the Apollo shots (he told me some interesting things, which I will not repeat here,he said they walked on the moon!! My brother is the Deputy Director of Space Research in the RAAF and has spent time working on classified things,he was at Cape Canaveral last year, and says they walked on the moon(he guarantees it)I believe him.Armstrong in the book "First Man" says it would be harder to fake...I believe him!!The moon exist..I have seen it!!I believe it..THERE IS A VIDEO CLIP I HAVE SEEN WITH AN ORB FLYING DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH COLUMBIA TAKEN FROM THE LM....(trying 2 get more info 4 U).I have also been 2 Tidbinbilla tracking station in Australia...its huge!!
checkout "REAL MOON STUDIO" on Youtube....what do U think!!!
Personally I think they walked on the moon, the anomalies can be explained..they had visitors(same as over Area 51,orbs) and would have substituted some things here and there if the plans had failed that they could anticipate.I have read Return To Earth (Aldrin) and he says they dumped their things on the surface out the door, this is on video(Honeysuckle Creek) and it was planned 2 begin with (Apollo Mission Reports,Apogee)
So its a case of what U believe....I have my own beliefs ...POSITIVE!!
WELL DONE APOLLO!!!

Well you seem to be fairly sure that Apollo missions were real. I agree with you on that.
However, you seem to be saying that the Apollo astronauts encountered space aliens during their mission. Or at least that the records of the Apollo missions show evidence of aliens. I'm pretty sure almost no one else here believes this. So it constitutes an extraordinary claim for which you might want to supply proof.
