I wouldn't have thought (.5)*1.5=1 could be topped. Did Jarrah actually claim that somewhere?? Yes, here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0q9GUDsyTcHe concludes that since the original NASA footage was "slowed down by 50%" all you'd need to do to restore it to its original speed is increase the playback speed of the altered clip by 50%. Those of us who don't suffer from the condition described in this thread's title, realize this operation produces a clip that runs at 75% of its original speed, not 100%. When several people pointed out his error, he went silent, which usually means he's cooking up a new video to either refute their claims, or diffuse the situation by veering off onto a new subject. This suspicion proved accurate. Unfortunately for Jarrah, the new video went horribly bad as well.

Didn't he end by the standard backpedal, saying he was "just testing" people or something? I wasn't around for the whole "polar orbit" fiasco, but he wrote once that he was just "testing" the pro-NASA side, to see how many of them would balk at his outlandish statement. [[snicker]] Sure.

Ah, so not the exponentiation fiasco. On second thought, that may have been Interdimensional Warrior on another board.

Update: Jarrah's latest video (where he assumes initial velocity has no bearing on time/distance calculations involving gravity fields) has been set to "private". Anyone desiring to view it, will apparently need to ask his permission first.

I see Jarrah has taken this video private...what a suprise! Sorry...missed svector's post on the same subject.

I actually came here to post the same thing. I was checking to see if 1plus8 said anything new and I noticed the video was set to private. I bet he was so proud of his "findings." I can't even imagine how it felt for him to go on youtube to check all the comments thinking we'd have a hard time explaining how the objects fell at different speeds, then seeing the comments and realizing how big of a mistake he just made.

Arrgh, he's suppressing the TRUTH...(I seem to recollect he pulled his "polar orbit" diagram over on the LooseChange forum, I never got to see it. Seems he's prone to spouting off theories before engaging his brain.

It may well have been BAUT; it was definitely IDW. GLP; starts around here, goes on for ages: www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message359478/pg33Warning: nobody should ever go to GLP (and if you do have all your pop-up safeties and such activiated, e.g. in I.E. set GLP to be in your untrusted sites zone.) I had lots of fun in that thread as exponents are within my understanding (for once). IDW's reaction was instructive, and sounds very much like Jarrah White (squirm a mile, change the topic, anything instead of admitting error).

Of course, probably the most amusing aspect of Jarrah "Bond" White and his ridiculous theories is the fact that he staunchly refuses to debate his claims anywhere other than on YouTube. Heaven forbid he should actually come somewhere where he doesn't control who can post and where he can't delete the posts that point to actual evidence that he's wrong... Cz Until he banned me from posting, I was having quite the commanding debate with him. Get him backed up into a corner where he can't escape your claims and he really freaks out. All I did was repeatedly ask for his evidence (which he claims to have but won't produce), and I wouldn't let him change the subject, and he banned me.

Hahaha his video is private. It was called "The penny drops, the hammer falls". I guess the penny really did drop this time hahaha. I wonder if he will deny knowledge of the video. Typical though, instead of admitting his mistake, he hushes it up by making it not visible. Disgraceful.

And therein lies the source of my error. Who could blame you? There was a regular here or on BAUT who came up with the "all HBers are the same person" theory. :-)

There was a regular here or on BAUT who came up with the "all HBers are the same person" theory. :-) That was my first post! If I were posting it today, I would have added a smiley face. ;D apollohoax.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=theories&action=display&thread=1180926576I've been reading the forum posting for the last few months, and it's been a source of some entertainment and knowledge. I find it incredible that people actually believe the Apollo Moon missions were a hoax in the first place. I also admire the patience that members here have in answering the questions put forth by HBers. I've felt frustrated myself that they simply ignore when their questions are answered so eloquently and with such precision! Bravo to Jay and many others who take the time over and over again to try to get through to such a tiny minority the truth. Does anyone ever think that in actuality there is only one HB'er posting to the forum, going by different names? They all seem to use the same logic and reason, all deny evidence when presented to them, all refuse to acknowledge when they've been proven wrong, all refuse to seek out the scientific evidence available, etc. They all even seem to use the same grammar and expressions - such as 'it just makes sense to me' or 'it would have been impossible' and on and on... They start a thread usually in the same manner, baiting a reply, and then ignoring the information in the reply, then switching their inquiry slightly to bait again, hoping to catch someone's inaccurate response I guess. We should name this one HBer. Any suggestions? This is my first post.
