You seem to have a problem understanding the concept of proof. At Law, there is such a thing as reverse onus, which means the onus is on the ABer to prove the evidence NASA produces is genuine. I believe it apply in this case. I think the term you are referring to, Moon Man, is reverse anus. It means you are talking out of your arse. BTW, you are the one who needs to provide the proof- they are your claims. Wrong Again!( i'm sure we could do you a series of certificates on this... )

Moon man be honest with us. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, that much is painfully apparent to anybody with half a brain reading your posts.
Do you REALLY believe what you are saying? Don't worry; we won't tell anybody if you don't.
It will be between you and us.

Moon Man, if you're looking for proof for Apollo, you'd do good to look at Jay's site at clavius.org. Or you could write a reply to my "I'd love to hear from an HB on this." thread here, it was specifically written as a series of obstacles that any apollo hoax theory must overcome.

There is no obstacle that a well-crafted conspiracy theory cannot morph around.

Hey hplasm I like your avatar. You too twinstead. I can't read any of your posts without hearing Moe's voice in my head. I find myself "correcting" your comments to make them sound more like Moe talks though. In More speak, your comment above would probably look like "Dere ain't no obsticle a well-crafted cinspiracy can't morph around ya dirty bum."

There has also not be a geo-man on the moon until Apollo 17, I think, so no geo-man would know one rock from another. Oh, really. Then please explain this part from the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal (link at bottom of page) about the very first landing, Apollo 11: 109:34:54 Aldrin: That looks beautiful from here, Neil. 109:34:56 Armstrong: It has a stark beauty all its own. It's like much of the high desert of the United States. It's different, but it's very pretty out here. Be advised that a lot of the rock samples out here - the hard rock samples - have what appear to be vesicles in the surface. Also, I am looking at one now that appears to have some sort of phenocrysts. 109:35:30 McCandless: Houston. Roger. Out. (Pause) [Vesicles are spherical imprints of gas bubbles that formed inside the lava as it cools and hardens. Phenocrysts are embedded crystals. In his excellent book about the Apollo missions, "To A Rocky Moon", Don Wilhelms puts both Neil and Buzz in small group of astronauts whom he remembers as having been "either especially interested in geology or competent in science in general" and who, therefore, received special attention from the geology instructors. Certainly, the ease with which Neil used the terms "vesicle" and "phenocryst" was not the norm. Later in the EVA, at 110:59:28 , he will change his mind about the vesicles and will decide, correctly, that what he is seeing are small craters made in the rocks by small impacts. Still later, at 111:22:34, he will recognize and collect some genuinely vesicular basalt.]

While none of the Astronauts were geolgists prior to Schmitt, they were all extensively trained on it. They spend many hours looking at rocks, collecting rocks, and studying rocks. They had field trips to Nevada, to Utah, to Hawaii and many other places. They studied craters or all sorts, volcanic, man-made and meteor made. They collected rocks on canyons and on deserts. They were likely some of the best and well trained non-geologists on the planet.

Of course Moon man won't buy the training crapola, nor the flying there using aircraft crapola, and subsequently communicating via modulated radio waves crapola but rather point to survey field trips as the collection of fake rocks, which were created in an oven. Man oh man, hallucinogenics never gave me quite the whirlwind kaleidoscope that HB rationale does.

HBing is like a drug that never lets you down maaaaan. It's like, reality disappears and you become part of this trippy world where rockets push against air to work and the U.S. government paid the Russians off with wheat. Totally excellent duude.
Hands are like, amazing! Have you ever like, really looked at them? All bendy and stuuuuuufff. There's a killer party going down at Area 51 man. Hangar C where they filmed the fake moon landing! Kegger!

Your responses lack coherence MM. Your ignorance, and inability to read, are showing. How about YOU try re-reading the innumerable responses to your claims? He won't do it. Moon Man...[snip!] you could write a reply to my "I'd love to hear from an HB on this." thread here, it was specifically written as a series of obstacles that any apollo hoax theory must overcome. Nup, he won't do that either. He won't do either of these things that require him to consider the possibility that he is wrong, simply because he can't. He is incapable of rational and critical thinking and equally incapable of overcoming his own wilful ignorance. He will pretend that the evidence countering his claims does not exist because he has made his mind up that whatever the facts may show, the Apollo program was faked. He has given up the one best quality that sets humans apart from the other animals - the ability to think and reason. That's worse than useless. What function can such a person have in society? Because I sure can't think of any. Man, what a waste of natural resources.

After NASA contracted out 90% of it's work Grumman laid off a whack of people. Yesterday I read in a book the lyrics to a song that was written about it. Funny lines. I'll have to dig it up again and post the lyrics.

NASA has always contracted most of the work of designing and building spacecraft. That is not unusual for a government agency, nor is it peculiar to the Apollo era. Moreover, the expected staffing profiles are worked out years in advance, otherwise the gov't couldn't budget and the contractors couldn't make a business plan. The House subcommittee report I was looking through the other day shows the staffing levels before its publication (in 1969) and projected afterwards. Apollo program staffing had been declining markedkly and continuously well before Armstong and Aldrin set foot on the Moon, because most of the design, fabrication, facilities construction, and testing had already been done by then.
