We train dogs; we educate humans.
Nah; I've had plenty of both. Education is where you learn facts and principles and get thinking skills. Training is where you learn to apply these skills to real-life problems.
Such a statement is also clearly made by someone who's never tried to train my dog.

Moon Man, if you only have the time to answer something irrelevant to the discussion with something more irrelevant it's better not to discuss at all.

We train dogs; we educate humans. I don't have time to answer the questions I said I would the last time I was on. I just dropped in to read for 5 minutes. I hope everyone is well. I'll happily argue that point with you. You know as well as I do that training is something the humans also engage in. That's also why the H3 USA temporary work visa is called a "trainee visa". I use my education to train for the job I have studied. That's why singers engage in "vocal training", why soccer players have training, and why astronauts train for their mission whether it be lunar or LEO. If you have a problem with the definition of training, I suggest you discuss it with an English professor.

Apollo program staffing had been declining markedkly and continuously well before Armstong and Aldrin set foot on the Moon, because most of the design, fabrication, facilities construction, and testing had already been done by then.
I can understand that. The Project I'm part of now has several hundred people workng on it, many are contracters on the drilling rigs and setting up the production station. In 3 months time when it's all up and running there'll be just a few operators who take care of the day-to-day running of the wells.
