The movies had been up on YouTube and Google Video for quite some time but seem to have myteriously disappeared. Perhaps Bart didn't like the dent in his revenue stream.

Lionking, The Bart movie has been thoroughly debunked and shown pretty much to be the rantings of a completely ignorant person. Bart knows nothing of Apollo, spaceflight nor rocket technology. This is not a movie to base your thinking on...unless you wish to be as foolish as he is. (EDIT: My gross error...this is the Percy movie...but the rest of this post still applies...just a different set of "experts" spouting the same nonsense. I have the notes from this movie in front of me, all 8 pages of innaccuracies and misrepresentsations ). If there are any specific claims you see that you can't find the answers to (they are here in these fora, trust me), then we will happily fill you in. Only those who know nothing of Apollo and it's science are the ones he aims this piece at. The ignorant, who base everything on mere appearances and elementary "common sense", which don't always apply in space.

This thread is not meant for any debunking. It is just putting the movies.

Well, since it IS copyrighted material I would rather it wasn't linked to at all.

I thaught about that, but then, it was not us who stole the video and put it. The damage has happened, but you can delete the topic if you want

Removing the link would probably be right, but if you just inform us that the video exists online there's nothing wrong with that.

I will allow the link to the video for now since for all I know it was the owner of the copyright who put the video on Google. But in the future I ask everyone to be more careful about copyrights. Piracy is a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

I just can't work out why NASA are so reluctant to address the suggestion that the moon landings were faked.

I just can't work out why NASA are so reluctant to address the suggestion that the moon landings were faked. If you page through some of the threads on this forum, you'll see how ignorant of classical physics, thermodynamics, history, mathematical astronomy, geology, chemistry, human nature, electronics, engineering, economics and rhetoric the HB's make themselves out to be. Plus, you'll notice a remarkable tenacity to remain so. NASA chooses to pursue science and address other intelligent scientists (or, unavoidably, to budget-wielding politicians).

Because it's a no-win situation:
If they don't address it, the HBs say that they can't respond to the allegations. If they do address it, the HBs say that they must be on to something and NASA is trying harder to cover their tracks.
Additionally, when it was considered once, the funding (a mere $15k if I recall) was denied as a waste of effort documenting something that was known and established beyond any reasonable (or even unreasonable) doubt.
