We may've signed into the treaty and we can sign out. Wow, that's not a really strong argument. I think your days of legal whiz-dom are over. [edited to fix up the quote tags]

Don't you ever get embarrassed by spouting obvious nonsense about subjects of which you are completely ignorant? Be fair: if he was restricted to subjects about which he knew anything, he'd be forced to stay silent forever.

By the way, William Shatner may be Canadian, but he is an actor. James Tiberius Kirk is from Iowa

"Tiberius". Gawd. I suppose they thought it had gravitas - a name reaching back to Earth's traditions for a man reaching forward to the future or something similarly pretentious.
Pity they chose the name of a child molesting, murderous, negligent despot who was so hated by his subjects that they thought (for a while) that Caligula was a good replacement.
Apologies to any Trekkies I've offended. But really, if they wanted a Latin name that badly they could have chosen Terentius, who famously wrote "Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto", or "I am human, nothing that is human is alien to me." . Which, with a bit of rearrangement, could be made to work quite well for a captain who tried to stick his tongue down the throat of anything bipedal.

...more drivel...
Moon Man is utterly ignorant, and not even an entertaining troll. I'm through indulging him, on this or any other thread.

Once we're on the moon we're dig up the minerals and just throw them or hit them towards earth. That's why we had the Russian test out our new space golf club. We'll catch up to them in LEO, harvest them for the return to earth, where we ca$h in. We may've signed into the treaty and we can sign out. HA! I'd love to see that idea in practice. Probably the weirdest thing to ever be said on this forum. Might even top some of your other classic quotes. "uh houston, I'm about to throw the gold up. I'm aiming for the southern hemisphere but my fastball has been a little rusty, so it might end up near China instead. I wish these spacesuits weren't so bulky. When can we bring up a trebuchet?" I hope I didn't offend and Canadians in my other comment. It was purely lighthearted. Seeing as how Minneapolis might as well be Canada and all. I never realized how many Candadians make up the board.

Where do I get my tickets? Space Adventures. 100 million $ to fly around the moon. That was their goal, to fly around the moon but they may've scaled back. www.spaceadventures.com/

Yeah, they were offering that a couple of years ago, but I don't see it on their website any more. Presumably it would have been a Soyuz/Proton vehicle.

There is a passing similarity... He has a different one. Maybe it's not GI Joe. I'll have to ask him. Oh, and Moon Man, bragging that you as a nation produced William Shatner isn't exactly helping your argument. Why not mention that you also produced Alan Thicke?

I really like Pure Pwnage. Why didn't you bring that up? You could've but you didn't. Now isn't that strange? You must be lying about your whereabouts. [/HB Mode]
